Carol's pov
I squealed happily as I rushed to my mother's arms,"Carol my baby,you're home!"she exclaimed as we hugged."i missed you so much mama."i said as I pulled away,"who is that?"I heard my dad ask.I looked behind my mom's shoulder and saw him looking behind me,I turned my head and saw Taylor standing there nervously."oh!mom,dad,"I walked towards Taylor and held his arm,"this is my boyfriend,Taylor Hawkins."i introduced them to him.
Taylor's pov
I felt like I was sweating fucking buckets.I just felt so completely nervous around Carol's parents,and even though I was trying to look cool they could probably see right through me."mom,dad,"Carol walked towards ms and held my arm,"this is my boyfriend,Taylor Hawkins."she introduced them to me."I-It's Uh,nice to meet you both."i said,"it's nice to meet you too Taylor,"her mom asked."are you guys hungry?"she asked,"mommm."Carol whined jokingly.she giggled,"sorry,sorry,motherly instinct."she apologized."it's fine."i said,"Carol,is it ok if I speak to Taylor alone?"her dad.I gulped,"sure!"Carol replied.I widened my eyes,I turned and looked at her.
"Baby-"She put her finger on my lips,"you're going to be fine,my father wouldn't even hurt a fly."she assured me.she gently kissed my cheek,"come on Carol,"her mom gently grabbed her arm."tell me all about America."she said,leading her away from me.now it was just me and her dad,I gulped."so,do you always wear stuff like that?"he asked,referring to my tank top and board shorts."well Uh,not really all the time.I-I just prefer to sometimes since it's um,hot in some places where we tour."i replied,"huh...interesting."he said."just ask him already you pussy!"I thought,I cleared my throat."uh,sir?look I uh,Wanna ask-"he cut me off,"you have my permission."
I widened my eyes,"I'm sorry what?"I asked."you clearly want to propose to my daughter,why else would you act so nervous?"he pointed out,i blushed in embarrassment."so,do you have a ring?"he asked,I nodded and quickly showed him the ring.he examined it,"I can't wait for you to be my son in law."he said.I smiled and put the ring back in my pocket,"when do you plan on doing it?"he asked.I proceeded to explain to him my whole plan,"I recommend proposing to her near the mountains,it's a great spot."he suggested.
