Carol's pov "It's such a beautiful day!"I exclaimed,taking in the beauty.Taylor suggested that we should have a little picnic at the beach,since he had a little break from touring I told him that it was a lovely idea.

I'm gonna propose to Carol
I got this,I'm gonna be fine.I'm gonna be-"Taylor are you ok?"Carol asked in a concerned tone,"you've barely eaten."she pointed out.I gulped,"I-I'm fine."I stuttered.she gave me a concerned look,I sighed."ok,I guess I should be honest."I gently grabbed her hands and held them up,"Carol."I stared into her eyes."from the moment I locked eyes with you at that concert,I knew that I wanted to know you because I wanted you to be with me.I've been fine with you being my girlfriend,but now I want more."I began to tear up,"W-Which is why,"i shakily let go of one of her hands and dug into my pocket."I-I wanted to ask you to marry me."i said,holding it up.she gasped and widened her eyes,gently covering her mouth.
"Oh...I feel so embarrassed!"she exclaimed,I gave her a confused look."wait what?why?"I asked worryingly,"because I was going to propose to you first!"she replied.she dug into her purse and pulled out a ring,I widened my eyes.

We both began to laugh,"So I was nervous over nothing!"i said."same here!"she said,we calmed down and stopped laughing."do you...wanna propose at the same time?"I suggested,"that would be a wonderful idea."she said with a smile.I grinned,we both held up our rings.

We both giggled,"yes."we both said.I gently slipped the ring on her finger,she gently slipped the ring she got me on my finger.we locked hands and smiled at each other,"I can't wait for you to become Carol Hawkins."I whispered."I can't wait either my love."she said,I smiled.I gently cupped her cheeks and gently kissed her,she held onto my wrists and kissed back.
