Carol's pov
I had decided to make breakfast in bed for Taylor,since he seemed really exhausted.as I finished up the bacon Halle and Tara walked in,holding to go boxes."oh,hey Carol!"Halle greeted me,"where did you two go?"I asked curiously."Dave and Nate took us out for breakfast."Tara replied,"oh!that was nice of them."i said."is that for you?"Halle asked,pointing at the tray of breakfast I made."It's also for Taylor,which reminds me..."I put down my spatula,"girls."they looked at me.

"We need to talk."

Halle and Tara sat on the couch while Carol stood in front of them."Girls...there's uh,no easy way to say this..."she sighed,"I'll just get straight to the point:Taylor wants me to join him on the tour."she confessed to the girls.Halle gasped,"WHAT?!"Tara exclaimed.Carol quickly shushed her,"Taylor is sleeping!"she whispered."oh Carol,this is so cool!"Halle said,she got up and hugged her best friend.Carol smiled and hugged her back,"yeah that's great and all,but im gonna let reality kick in here:Carol you just met Taylor what?a couple of days ago?and you already want to go on tour with him?!"Tara said.Carol looked down sadly,while Halle just angrily glared at Tara.

"Are you serious right now?!"Halle exclaimed,"Halle-"Carol tried to calm her down."i know,I know,but this needs to be said!"Halle said,Carol backed away."I don't give two shits if you don't like Taylor T,but that does not give you the right to put Carol down like that!you're not her mother and you're certainly not her Damn sister,who the hell do you think you are talking to her like that?"Halle began to scold Tara,who had her arms crossed.she rolled her eyes,"oh well excuse me for caring about Carol running off with some stranger!"Tara said."honey if Carol wasn't standing right next to me I would've whooped your ass by now!"Halle growled,Carol gulped as she watched Halle defend her.

"Carol and I are the ones who do everything around here!we pay the bills,we work our asses off!and you know what?that's gonna change!cause when Carol goes with Taylor,you'll be the one helping me pay rent."Tara was about to open her mouth but Halle cut her off,"and no you don't have a fucking job Tara,you're a damn freeloader.the reason why Carol and I haven't kicked you out yet is cause you're our friend,and lord knows you wouldn't survive out there on your own."Tara angrily looked at Halle.then she glared at Carol,who was looking down sadly.

"Fine,like you said I'm not her fucking sister."she walked towards Carol,"go on tour with him,but I'm warning you now:it'll not end well."she said stormed out of the apartment:leaving Carol and Halle alone in the living room."T-That could've gone a lot worse."Carol finally spoke,"hey,"Halle put her hands on Carol's shoulders and faced her."at least you got my seal of approval,and besides:I'll be watching over her ass,so you don't got to worry about a thing."they sat down on the couch,"all you gotta worry about is you and Taylor."Carol blushed."he...he told me me loved me."she confessed,Halle smiled."did you say it back?"she asked,Carol smiled and nodded.Halle grinned,"you've got my seal of approval,although if he breaks your heart I'm whooping his ass."Carol snorted and began to laugh.
