Chapter 10

Carol's pov
He noticed the bracelet in my hand and tilted his head,"where did you get that?"he asked curiously as he pointed at it.my face lit up,"oh!"I held it up to him."it's for you."I said with a confident smile,his face went red."this..."he slowly took it from me,"this is for me?"he asked.I nodded,"I made it for you,"i said."all by myself too!see?"i held up my hands to reveal my bandaged fingers,Taylor gasped quietly and held up my hands,"how did I not notice this before?"i said."I-It's ok,it doesn't hurt anymore."i tried to assure him,but he sighed sadly.I was now concerned and wanted some answers,"what's wrong?"I asked him.he sat down on a nearby beanbag chair,"I feel awful."he admired.

"why?"

"because I didn't make you anything."

I blushed,"T-Taylor,you don't have to make me anything."i tried to once again assure him."but you made me this!"he protested,holding up the bracelet(that was now on his wrist)."yes that is true,but being here with you is enough for me."i crouched down beside him,"I'm ok with this."i assured him,gently placing my hand on top of his.he smiled at me,"you know...you could sit on my lap."he suggested.I widened my eyes and blushed,"a-are you sure?"i asked.he nodded and grinned,patting his lap.i gulped,"you got this Carol."I thought as I stood up.I gently sat down on his lap,he immediately protectively wrapped his arms around me.

This was Taylor's moment:all he had to do was tell Carol he liked her and hopefully they'd kiss,"C-Carol..."he stuttered."yes T?"She said,he gulped."I-I have to tell you something."he said,"come on man,don't be a pussy!just tell her how you feel!"he thought."Taylor...I have something to tell you too."she admitted,her face turning red.Taylor widened his eyes,"you do?"he asked.she nodded,they were both extremely nervous.

As their faces got closer to each other they were once again interrupted by the door slamming open,they both jumped a bit as they both quickly turned their heads:only to see Dave and Pat."yo T!we gotta go man,we're on in five minutes!"Dave said,"uh Dave,I think we were interrupting something."Pat said as he pointed at them.Taylor and Carol's faces were red,"oh...uhhh,well we'll be on in five minutes so ummm...you might want to hurry up."Dave said."see you later."Pat said with a grin,they closed the door and left Taylor and Carol alone.Taylor cleared his throat,"s-should we pick up where we left off?"Carol asked nervously.
