Carol's pov
The tour was a complete breeze,it was a bit tiring at some times but other then that it went well.when we came back home we immediately started the wedding planning process,Taylor's friend Dave Navarro recommended that we should be the one's to plan our own wedding rather then a wedding planner.

"Why?"

"Haven't you seen me and Carmen's wedding?"

"He kinda has a point babe."

"I guess so..."

And since it was going to happen in Brazil, half of the pressure was on me.of course Taylor did try his best to help out,we decided that the first thing we should work on was the guest list."Ok so so far we're inviting:Dave,Jordyn,Nate,Kate,Chris,Cara,Pat,
Rebecca,Dave Navarro,Carmen Electra,Halle,Tara,my family, and your family."I read the list,"oh shit,"Taylor widened his eyes."what is it?"I asked,"I just realized I never introduced you to my family!"he exclaimed.I widened my eyes,"oh no."I whispered.so after realizing I never met Taylor's family,we packed some things and made our way down to Texas.as we sat in our seats on the plan,i proceeded to explain to Taylor that Brazilian weddings were very different compared to American weddings.

"In Brazil:a wedding is more likely to be a whole weekend than a single day.The day before the wedding, the bride usually spends some time pampering with family at a local spa, then comes the ceremony, which most often takes place on a Friday or Saturday afternoon since it's followed by an all-night reception that can lead into a day-after-wedding party. Most couples choose a venue at the beach or a beautiful ranch house outside a major city so that they're able to host an elaborate event."I explained,"man, how long do Brazilian weddings last?"he asked."one hour."I replied,"but that's only because of readings, vows, the switching of rings, and the signing of the marriage certificate."I quickly explained.

"But dont worry,we don't have to make the wedding completely Brazilian."I assured him,"how bout we mix some Hawkins charm into this wedding?"he suggested.I giggled,"ok then, what's a Hawkins wedding like?"I asked.he grinned and began to explain how people in his family celebrate weddings, that typically the bride and groom have joint bachelor/bachelorette parties.while in a Brazilian wedding, the mom walks the groom down the aisle,in an American wedding the dad walks the bride down the aisle."oh!can we still have a sweets table?"I asked,"sweets table?"he said curiously.I nodded happily,"what's a sweets table?"he asked.

"Most Brazilian weddings have a sweets table with at least ten kinds of sweets. These may include traditional Brazilian desserts such as brigadeiro-which are sprinkle-covered chocolate balls-or bem casado dulce de leche–stuffed cookies. It's tradition to serve bem casado at a Brazilian wedding, which the couple wraps in a beautiful package and gives out to all the guests at the end of the reception. This little treat is a symbol of prosperity and good luck."I explained,"man,we're gonna get fat with all of these sweets."he joked.we laughed,"ladies and gentlemen we are now arriving in Fort Worth,Texas."the pilot said through the intercom.
