Ash's POV
The next few weeks were tough, since I had to work twice as hard to keep up, but it was worth it. I still had my stage fright, but every time I felt the anxiety creep in on me, the girls helped me through it.
I learned a lot about how everything worked and why some of the girls acted like they did. For instance, when I first joined The Bellas, I didn't know that Aubrey, Chloe and Beca actually were co-captains.. or the fact that they were dating.. all three of them.
-
"Listen up girls, I have some news." Aubrey said, as she walked into the rehearsal room. We all turned our attention to her. "I just got off the phone with The Barden Sorority Organization, and they have finally gotten the house ready. So now, we can move back into The Bella House." Aubrey explained, earning cheers from all the girls, except me. I didn't understand what they were talking about, so I just sat there looking confused.
"What exactly is The Bella House?" I asked, making all the girls look at me.
"It's our sorority house. It has been under some renovation for the last couple of weeks." Chloe explained with a soft smile, but I still felt a little stupid for not realizing something so obvious.
"Finally! Now I can officially move into my room in the house." Emily said, excitedly. I couldn't help but feel a bit sad, since I would be living in the dorm alone from then on.
"What's wrong, sweetie?" Chloe asked and sat down next to me.
"Nothing." I mumbled in return, but of course, Chloe being Chloe, didn't buy that.
"Don't lie to me." she said and brushed a few loose strands of hair out of my face, sending butterflies through my tummy.
"I'm happy for you guys.. I'm just not looking forward to living alone in the dorm, is all." I replied only loud enough for her to hear.
"Oh but sweetie, you're gonna move into the house just like the rest of us." The redhead said softly, making me look up at her confused. "You're a Bella, which means you're gonna live in The Bella House." she chuckled and stroked my cheek softly, making me blush so hard, I swear I looked like a tomato.
-
We spent the rest of that day moving our stuff into the house. Emily and I still shared a room, which I was very happy about. "That's the last of it." Emily said and placed her last suitcase on her bed. I had finished a little while ago, since I didn't really have too much stuff, so I had just been chilling on my bed.
"Hey guys, the pizza is on the way. You can just come down when you're ready." Stacie popped her head into our room with a smile.
"Thanks, Stace. We'll be right there." I replied and smiled back at her, before she left.
-
As Emily and I came down the stairs, I noticed how all the Bellas were cuddled up together in some way or another. On one of the smaller couches, Beca sat with Aubrey leaning up against her, Chloe was on the floor in between the brunette's legs. Jessica was sitting pretty much on top of Ashley, who was sitting in one of the armchairs. Cynthia Rose, Flo, Lilly and Stacie were all huddled together on the big couch. Amy, being the independent woman that she is, sat by herself, occupying the other small couch, leaving only one armchair for me and Emily.
I smiled to myself at the cozy scene in front of me and grabbed Emily's hand, dragging her with me over to the chair. I sat down and pulled the taller girl into my lap, who quickly made herself comfortable on top of me.
"So, what's the plan for tonight?" Em asked, looking around at the girls.
"Well, first of all we need food.. It should be here soon." Stace replied, looking at the clock on the wall. Just then the sound of the doorbell, made Stacie jump up in excitement and ran to get the food. She quickly returned with a tower of pizzas, placing them on the coffee table, causing all the girls to cheer.
