Malice

Chapter Two- Perfection

        Colin opened the door to the apartment and carried in the leftover boxes in the car. He turned to her and gave her a smile before pulling her by her waist.

        "What is it?" He asked as he noticed how she was looking out the window beside him.

        "I just...I am so used to looking over my shoulder...and now...We don't have to..." She said, her voice high pitched.

        "Of course not. We now need to get ready for our child. Think of where to put the nursery or where to place our new furniture that should be here any time..." He said as he kissed her sweetly.

        "I love you Colin." She said as she kissed him once more.

        Instead of ceasing the kiss, he placed his hands on her back and pulled her into him. They remained in each others arms kissing for some time before Colin leaned her against the wall that separated the living room from the kitchen. She placed her hands up and behind her head before he removed her shirt and kissed her stomach, between her breasts, and her neck.

        Eventually, after sharing various amounts of kisses, Jennifer then removed Colin's clothes. When they were both almost bare, he walked her back into the bedroom where he placed her on the bed. But unlike times in the past, he lingered away from her as he quickly went toward the closet and took a wrapped box.

        She then sat upright and played with the ribbon before removing it completely to reveal a gorgeous nightgown that was made of silk and lace. Jennifer was in awe of it.

        "I had it made for our wedding night, but I figured now is as good of time as any." He said as she pulled him close and kissed him.

        "Well let me try it on." She said as she broke free from his grasp.

        Leaving for just a moment, she returned to find Colin waiting anxiously at the bottom of the bed. He looked up and let out a breath he was holding. It complimented her body perfectly and was still modest. He pulled her to him and kissed her stomach.

        "You have no idea how happy you have made me." He said as a raindrop hit the window outside.

        "I didn't do it alone." She said as she pulled him close once more and kissed her. He was now on top of her, his lips playing and teasing her skin-eventually kissing her lips once more. But he stopped once more.

        "What is it?"

        "This is paradise. Being with you. Being happy. Knowing our future is without trouble or stalkers." He said with a giggle. He then went to kiss her neck and she wrapped her legs around his but kept her eyes open as her mind was racing a million miles a minute. She had not told him of the text message due to the happiness he experienced with the pregnancy. But her thoughts were quickly ceased by his passion.

        Colin reached over to the lamp beside the bed and shut it off, their light now dark to those below on the streets. If only they knew the shadow that lurked below them. And what that shadow had planned...
