Jennifer moved into the hallway and removed Helen's cellphone from her pocket. Making her way through the walls of the hospital, she eventually made it outside before finding the number and calling it. She recognized the voice to be that of little Jenny's.

"If you hang up I will find you." Jennifer began. "I don't know why you are agreeing on helping her, for she is just using you...but I do know one thing for sure-"

"Jennifer!" She heard on the distance of the phone.

        "Colin." She interrupted herself.

"You are in no place for making demands now are you?" Little Jenny asked as she giggled on the other end of the phone.

"Just tell me what you want." Jennifer began, trying the bargaining approach.

"Mother wants you to suffer. I agree. You killed my father." The line went dead. Even though her heart was in knots she was somewhat relieved to know Colin was at least alive. His voice soothed her doubts and made the distance apart a little easier.

Making her way back into the hospital, she said goodbye to Helen and returned her phone. Not before texting the message to herself first.

As she made her way down the street, she felt something that caught her attention. A pounding in her stomach. A kick. The child's first kick. She held her hand on her stomach as she walked and found that the child was just as anxious as her.

"I know baby. We'll get your daddy back."

Determined as she often was, Jennifer made her way past a store before noticing a car slowly following her. It was dark with tinted windows and seemed to be parked anytime she looked. Making her way from the sidewalk, she began walking faster to find the car was indeed following her. She lingered in her position as if she had not seen the vehicle before slowly watching as the window rolled down in the back. There was Colin. His mouth gagged, his eyes pleading, and his throat red and bruised along with his eye and opposite cheek.

Chasing after him, she found the pursuit pointless. Ending in front of a pawn shop, she entered and saw against the wall. Just as her heart rested a beat, her phone buzzed.

"Just a small taste of the hell that is to come."

"I'll do anything just please let him go." Jennifer responded.

"Nah. I like him. He is like a real life ken doll."
