Gabriel has a bad day and Nathalie decided to cheer him up by uncharacteristically doing the most unexpected thing by using her pregnancy gas to produce a purposely loud fart

I literally don't know the first thing about pregnancy 

Nathalie couldn't believe how lucky she was. She lightly rubbed her rounded belly, she was almost seven months along now. She had been worried when she found that she was expecting a child but Gabriel was happy he got a second chance at being a parent, especially when he had been making things better with Adrien. It had taken a while for both of them to forgive each other for keeping their identity secret from one another but after some time they had. 

Nathalie had been so caught up in their past, she hadn't realized when Gabriel had collapsed beside her tired from his long day. Nathalie felt her stomach grumble, her least favorite part about pregnancy had to be how gassy it made her. It was embarrassing to her and there was nothing she could do about it. Nathalie had researched several articles and even after making modifications to her diet, she still suffered from bloating and gas. 

As much as she wanted to comfort her husband, she stood up and walked around hoping that would ease her digestive tract. An idea ran through her head and she didn't think twice as she let herself release a loud fart. Gabriel, who had let his eyes shut and his head to fall, looked up at his wife, not bothering to put his back glasses on.

“Are you feeling alright Nath? Is the baby okay?” 

Nathalie almost immediately regretted her action, “yes, we are fine,” she said with her face red in embarrassment, “I just wanted to cheer you up, I should be asking if you're okay.” 

“It’s been a long day,” Gabriel admitted. 

Nathalie smirked as she got another idea and walked over to a desk drawer that hadn't been opened in quite some time, pulling out an almost forbidden miraculous. 

“I'm sure that pigeon guy is still out there,” Nathalie said, extending the butterfly miraculous to Gabriel.

“We can't. We promised Adrien and Marinette that we wouldn't use it for evil purposes.” 

“We can give them a warning, besides it's not that evil if it's just for some laughter.” 

Gabriel signed and smiled up at his wife, he truly loved Nathalie Sancoeur Agreste. Taking the jem that he hadn't touched in a few years, and placing it on himself, Nooroo was happy to be free. 

“Would you like me to alert Marinette and Adrien?” Nathalie offered.

“No, I think Ladybug and Cat Noir need to stay on their toes. Besides, it's the pigeon guy, he won't cause that much harm,” Gabriel said before he transformed once again. 

Nathalie nodded, that was a fair enough argument. 

Watching Hawkmoth in action again made Nathalie smile. Of course, Mr. pigeon made her laugh too, one of his most pathetic villains but one of the funniest by far. It made her even happier when she saw Hawkmoth crack a few grins. 

Was it anyone’s ideal family? Probably not, but she wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world. 

“I thought you promised not to use the miraculous for evil purposes,” Marinette said to her soon to be father in law. 

“I did,” Gabriel confirmed.

“Then why were we out fighting the pigeon man AGAIN?” Adrien asked.

“We wanted a laugh,” Nathalie shrugged, “the battle took, what? Not even five minutes?” 

Marinette and Adrien looked at each other, it had felt good to be Ladybug and Cat Noir even if they didn't want to admit that. 

“Next time tell us in advance so we can switch kwami’s, I would love to be Lady Noire again,” Marinette smiled.

“I did look amazing as Mister Bug,” Adrien said.

This had the rest of them rolling their eyes but his inflated ego was nothing new once they found out that he was actually Cat Noir. 

Yes, this was her family, right where Nathalie belonged. She rubbed her stomach as her child kicked gently. Feisty, definitely a Sancoeur, she just hopes their child wouldn't inherit either of their parent's stubbornness. Those were problems for another day that she shrugged off as she snuggled close to her husband and had tea with Adrien and Marinette.
