*Part 1: Don’t you dare look back*

Mayura feels like a failure after another failed akuma attack. She takes a walk through the park and stops and listens to a band playing. It appears their singer is out sick but they still sound great

It didn't matter if the fault was not truly Mayura’s, she still blamed herself, she was weak. Mayura was forced to fight against her own miraculous and her own health but she should have been stronger, should have helped him more, and just maybe they could have been victorious.

She had taken permanent residence in the Agreste household when her health started to decline. She was supposed to alert Gabriel if she was leaving but she couldn't care less about the rules he tried to place upon her.

A park isn't far from the Agreste mansion and she walks over there enjoying the fresh air. There is a band in the gazebo playing a song and she sits down on a nearby bench to listen to them practice. It would appear their singer is out sick because nobody is singing but the instrumental is just as talented without it.

“Are you alright, Miss Nathalie?” Duusu comes out of her pocket but makes sure to keep their voice down.

“I’m fine, Duusu, I just wish I was more helpful to Gabriel. I can only stand on my own half the time, I can barely talk without coughing anymore, and he's put me on bed rest like some elderly grandma so I can't do my job as an assistant either. I’m just a huge failure,” her voice is low so that only Duusu can hear but admitting all her flaws causes her to tear up a bit.

“Cheer up, Miss Nathalie, I’m sure Gabriel does appreciate all you do for him,” Duusu says and tries to push her head up although they are a little small to do that.

“Thanks, Duusu, but you don't have to lie to me, it's obvious I’m just a burden to him.”

*Part 2: Just Keep Your Eyes On Me*

Gabriel realizes Nathalie is missing, after checking every room in the mansion and calling her five times he eventually goes out to look for her. He is surprised to find her just sitting there in the park, the familiar music plays in the background, he knows this song.

Gabriel is going frantic around the mansion, where could she be? He had checked every room three times now, called her ten, and texted her thirty. He tried to remind himself that she probably wasn't dead but that only opened the realm of what if she was actually dead?

She has to be out somewhere, he decides that it's time he goes looking for her. Where would she be? What were her favorite places? Why didn't he ever talk to her more about where she liked to go?

Hawkmoth is sure to find her faster but he has sworn away from spying on her emotions, looking for her that way would feel wrong. Instead, he just uses Hawkmoth’s speed and other heightened senses to try and find his missing assistant.

Why would she go away without telling him? Yes, she was an adult but he still wanted to know where she was going especially with her worsening condition. She had used the miraculous today, she could be anywhere right now, and in any condition.

“Where could she be?” Hawkmoth mumbles to himself until he spots her sitting alone on a park bench. It feels odd for him to see her there but he detransforms and goes to see the lovely lady.

He doesn't know who she's talking to but he hears her say, “I’m just a huge failure.”

Gabriel is about to object when Duusu’s high-pitched voice responds. Their response makes it seem like Nathalie feels bad because of something she did.

“Thanks, Duusu, but you don't have to lie to me, it's obvious I’m just a burden to him,” Nathalie says now.

Did she seriously think that? Did she think that she was a burden to him? No, she was his, if not his most, valuable asset. He sets a hand on her shoulder and regrets as she jumps and then bursts into a coughing fit.
