Luke was in the parking lot of the grocery store again. The rain poured even harder this time and the police men ran even faster. Before he could manage to wake himself up to out sleep the worst part of his dream he heard the haunting sound of the bullet being fired. The fictional noise brought him awake.

"It's just a dream"

Luke looked over to the shadowy figure in the chair next to the couch where he slept "more like a nightmare" he responded.

"Why does it bother you so much?" They asked. His voice becoming more recognizable as Luke became more awake.

"I don't know, he almost died...why are you awake so late Ashton?"

"Can't sleep" he said joining Luke on the couch.

"Who's the girl?" Luke asked.

"What! How do you know? All I said was 'can't sleep' I--"

"I didn't know until right now" Luke laughed "thanks for telling me"

Ashton rolled his eyes "I'm going to bed" he got up.

"Wait! I actually want to know now"

"Well I'm not telling you anything" he continued to walked away.

"Please! It will get my mind off of it" he begged.

"Her names Beverly"

"Is her last name Hills?" Luke asked laughing at his own joke.

"Ha ha ha, no I actually don't even know what her last name is..."

"You didn't tell her yours did you? Because that would be bad"

"No but I told her all the other things" Ashton walked back over to his seat.

"What!"

"Well what is she gonna do? Call the cops on us?" Ashton asked.

"Well maybe!" Luke said.

"She wouldn't do that! She wouldn't! Trust me" Ashton insisted.

"How do you know? You've only known her for a few days!"

"Weeks" he corrected him.

"Oh big difference"

Ashton fiddled with his thumbs "she-- I like her...a lot"

"Did you tell her that?"

"Well...no" Ashton confessed.

"Good" Luke frowned "because you can't"

"Why not?"

"Because Calum said"

"I don't give two shits about what Calum said! I can do what I want, Calum doesn't control me" Ashton said.

"But he-"

"I said I don't care!" His tone became angry.

Luke's eye brows tightened "Ash-"

"You know what Luke shut up, you're just a kid you don't understand!" He stood up.

"What's going on?" Emma asked tiredly from the doorway.

"Nothing!" Ashton yelled and pushed past her.

Emma looked at Luke who had a confused expression on his face that she mirrored.

"Stop yelling!" Michael shouted.

"Shut up Michael!" Ashton responded.

"You shut up first!" He yelled back. Something broke from the room they were sharing "oops..."

"Nice going hair dye!" Ashton remarked.

"How about you give Harry Potter his glasses back after you get a proper hair cut!" Michael yelled back.

"Why are you yelling?" Calum asked half asleep joining them in their room.

"Stay out of it" Ashton scoffed.

"Boys!" Emma said walking into their room.

"Simmer down, simmer down" Luke said joining her.

"What's going on?" She looked around and saw a table on the floor with a broken vase.

"I don't even know! Ashton just started yelling!" Michael explained.

She looked over at Ashton who sat on his air mattress cuddling a pillow "Ash are you okay?"

"Yes! No? I don't know" he said shoving his head into the pillow "Calum's just annoying"

"What!?" Calum looked at Emma.

"Just let him talk" she said "why is he annoying?"

"He won't let anyone leave! And I really like her! I want to-" he covered his mouth with his hands.

"Her?" She asked.

Ashton shook his head no.

"I told you all not to trust anyone" Calum said.

"But she's different" Ashton told him.

"So that's why you've been acting all strange" Michael said.

"How long have you been seeing her?" Calum asked.

"Like a week and I told her everything. She said she trusts me and I trust her"

"Stupid!" Michael laughed "we'er all going back thanks to Mr. KFC employee of the month!" He teased.

"Ashton you can't just go around telling people!" Calum said.

"I don't think it's that bad-" Emma tried to talk but Calum interrupted with his opinion.

"That bad? That bad! There's a random girl out there that knows what we did, what about that isn't bad?"

"Her name is Beverly and I love her!" Ashton yelled.

"You can't love someone you just met! I thought you were the mature one!" Calum said angrily.

"Well I do!" Ashton responded.

"And you're stupid too because she's never coming back! She said she was Ashton but she never did!" He yelled with tears forming in his eyes.

"What?" Ashton asked confused. A moment of silence passed over them all.

"I'm leaving" Calum said breaking the peace. He turned around and walked away.

"What?" Emma asked "Cal wait!" She followed him.

"Great" Michael said sarcastically falling back onto his air mattress.

"Ashton what's going to happen?" Luke asked.

"Luke just leave" he replied dryly.

"You don't have to be rude about it..." Luke walked away.

"I'm so confused what just happened?" Michael asked.
