Sora's P.O.V

Arriving the next floor we looked around to see if there was anybody here waiting for us to beat the crap out of, but there wasn't. Wired. Usually whenever we complete a floor someone would pop out of no where.

" Where'd Riku go?" Donald was the first to ask. " Guess he must've finally got tired of fightin' ya." Goofy thought.

I put my hands behind my head. " I sure hope so." I smirked. Even if we fought again I'd still beat the shit out him.

-----

" So what's going on, Vexen? Your Riku was supposed to counter Sora. What's he waiting for? Where is he?" Larxene mocked the long haired man.

" He's hiding somewhere to lure Sora deeper into the castle, right? I suppose we should just leave it at that, you know." Axel suggested.

"A-ha! Oh, I see, now! I would never guessed that. So sorry, Vexen." Larxene continued to teased her acquaintance.

Vexen glared at her. " Silence!" He raised his voice. He got worked up that his puppet failed him.

Larxene just raised her eyebrow at him. " Predictable response." She mutters. " Forget it. Men without hearts are so boring." She shook her head.

" You're one to talk! As if you have such a heart to speak of yourself." Vexen spat back.

" That's enough!" A familiar voice interrupted them.

" Marluxia." Vexen mutters as the man from the beginning appeared.

" Vexen, the simple fact is that your project was a failure. You'd best not disappoint us again." Marluxia scolded him.

Vexen couldn't help but glare at the man. " Disappoint YOU? You go too far! In this Organization, you're number. 11! I'm number.4 and I will not have you--!" Vexen gasped as Marluxia pointed his weapon at his face.

" I've been entrusted this castle, Maxay, and Namine by our leader. Defying me will be seen as treason against Organization." Marluxia explained.

" Traitors are eliminated. I believe that's what the rules say." Axel warned Vexen.

" Who needs a half-baked good for nothing, anyway?" Larxene chuckled. Vexen growls.

" Vexen, you cannot win against Sora." Marluxia stated.

Vexen smirks. "Pity to be so ignorant. As you're only able to see the surface of things, I should not expect you to appreciate my true might." He defended himself.

" Oh? Then let us watch as you prove it." Marluxia said making his weapon disappeared.

Vexen was taken back. " What?" He asked.

" None of us wish to be suspicious of a comrade." Marluxia stated as he began to questioned Vexen's loyalty.

" Your insincerity if comforting." Vexen scuffs vanishing within the dark portal.

" You give a challenge like that to Vexen and he'll seriously want to eliminate Sora." Axel pointed.

" That would be an unfortunate denouement." Marluxia said walking up to Maxay and Namine.

He placed his hand on Namine's shoulder making her gasped. " What to do?" Maxay couldn't help but glare at him." Your hero is soon to be wiped from existence. But I believe that there is a certain promise he made you? Isn't that right, Namine?" Marluxia questioned her in a threating matter.

" Leave her alone!" Maxay shouted as Marluxia turned to her. " I'll do it." Namine gasped again. " Maxay, don't!" Maxay knew that Namine was beginning to feel extremely guilty about messing with Sora's memory. If anyone should be rearranging his memories of Maya it should be her. Maya's shadow.
