Chapter 12

The following day-

I wake up on my bed and remember the insane shit that happened today, fought an entire school, went to court, caught a national criminal. A lot happened.

I get up from my bed and walk down, dad wasn't there. I look over to the counter and see a note.

'Hey John dad here, I had to leave early today, I had to meet a deadline on a new draft, y editor is killing me, I will be back late probably, take care!' John read the note and sighed

Welp, guess dad wasn't there, school was out for now, I have about 2 weeks before I have to  start homeschooling, I do not know why, but I really don't want to go back to New Boston, maybe because I want to see what they do.

I hear a doorbell ring and I see Claire there. I open the door and let her in.

"Yo Claire, why are you here so early?" I ask as she asked me confused

"Early? its 12 John" Claire says as I finally notice the clock, I turned my mouth to a o

"Well, I did sleep pretty late yesterday" I say as Claire tilts her head and asks

"Why? you couldn't sleep cause of what happened in school?" she asks as I say

"Well, yeah. But a lot more happened. I got a lot to tell you" I say as Claire nods confused

I tell Claire about what happened yesterday and she smiles and tells me that she is happy that our friends didn't betray us

'DAMNIT, it had to be fixed last minute, THAT..... THAT BITCH MAGGIE' Claire thought internally as she was seething with rage but giving a sweet smile on the outside

"So yeah, that's about it, I am gonna start homeschooling soon, will you be fine in the school alone?" I say as she shrugs

"It will be lonely, that's for sure, maybe we can get the same home tutor and just study together until high school?" she said as I thought about it

I would have company and Claire wouldn't be that lonely, she only ever stuck to me, Maggie or Jason. But maybe she could also get new friends

"Eh, your choice" I say as she just sticks to what she says. Maybe I should try and get her to stay in school, it will be good for her to get new friends, but I also don't want her to leave me.....

Claire hums at that and we both just sit in silence, I walk over to my landline and call up both maggie and jason, I don't elaborate much and just told them to come over to my house.

After waiting for a while, they both got to my house and we all just sat there while I got them some refreshments.

"So I am gonna cut to the chase, what do we do now?" I asked as they all looked confused

"Maggie and Jason, you both have highschool, so your going to Wellston right?"I asked as they both responded

"Yeah I think so, but we could just stay here and transfer to Wellston when you go there" Jason said as I started going into deep thought

All three of there live's are revolving around me...... is this right? like in any way? this doesn't feel right. Maybe I should leave them for a bit, they all just keep staying near me, I have an excuse to.

I used the scholar ability to think up the best course of action for all of us.

"Guys, I think we all should split up a bit" I said as they all looked at me in shock

"Look I know what you all are thinking, but we could use this as a learning opportunity, we all have confined ourselves to our little group for to long, its time we branch out more, to more people and learn more from more different places." I say as they all look at me, Maggie suddenly says
