Y.N AND JEREMY. IT WAS A VERY LONG STORY, THEY WERE FRIENDS SINCE ALMOST THEIR ENTIRE LIFE, THEY HAD MEMORIES WITH EACH OTHERS OVER THE YEARS.But when they turned into teenagers, their feelings changed and they were not friends anymore, it took time for both of them to realise it, many times and Jeremy losing himself in drugs wasn't helping. But finally, after two dead girlfriends and rehabilitation, Jeremy managed to admit his feelings to his beautiful childhood friend, hoping that they were reciprocated and hopefully for both of them, they were. Since then, the two were into a passionate and loving relationship, sometimes being teased by their friends —mostly damon— but they did not care that much, they were together and it was all that mattered.
That day, the y.l.n was sitting on the floor in the Gilbert's room, a grimoire in her hands and trying to keep her focus on the many lines of foreign language. But it was hard, she wasn't a witch, she was just a human caught up into the supernatural world because her friends and boyfriend were involved, with a friend being a witch, others being vampires, a werewolf, a doppelgänger and a boyfriend being a vampire hunter, she couldn't really stay out of it. On the bed was Jeremy, reading a grimoire too, the both were trying to find a way to get rid of the originals for good without killing their friends but the task was harder than they thought and they were losing focus and mind passing days reading grimoires over grimoires and it was getting on their nerves.
"That's it," snapped the human, closing the grimoire in her hands. "What are you doing ?" asked Jeremy frowning. "I'm tired of reading things I can barely understand and I know you're tired too," she declared, sitting on the bed next to him while he nodded. "Let's get out of here," smiled the beautiful girl, taking his hand. "You're right, we need to rest," nodded the black-haired man, standing up and taking his girlfriend with him.
Jeremy and y.n left the room then the house before they began to walk around the town with the sole purpose to join the grill and chilled around there a little, maybe talk with matt and playing pool while drinking some coke and eating pancakes. The y.l.n was obsessed with pancakes, she loved it so much, it was bewildering. The couple promenaded around town, holding hands with goofy smiles on their beautiful features. From the outside it was obvious how much they loved each others and that they were meant to be. I mean, when you are walking in the street and discovered a young couple holding hands, smiling and laughing, While they were looking each others eyes, you couldn't deny the love they were having for each other.
Finally, the two managed to attend the grill and were surprised to see it half empty, usually at this time of the day, it was crowded but they did not complain, the pool was free so y.n sat at one of the little table placed around it while jeremy was preparing the game. Soon, a waitress went to take their command, telling them that matt was exceptionally free for the day and that she was the one taking care of them after they asked after their friends. The beautiful young woman ordered a coke with maple syrup pancakes while her boyfriend only ordered a coke.
"You mesmerise me," chuckled the vampire hunter while observing her eating between two moves. "What do you mean ?" she asked frowning while putting the ball she wanted in the hole. "You're always eating pancakes," laughed the gilbert. "Well pancakes equal life so yes I'm always eating pancakes," smirked the beautiful y.l.n.
They stayed at the grill for a long moment, playing pool, unsurprisingly, Jeremy won almost every games but she didn't care, well a little but not that much, she knew she didn't stand a chance in front of a supernatural vampire hunter. And this time permitted them to pass some together away from their crazy lives surrounded by the supernatural. Since Stefan arrived in town, well especially since Damon arrived, they barely had a peaceful day, always trying to save someone from a bad supernatural creatures: Damon, the vampires in the tomb —except for Anna, the girl Jeremy was before y.n— Katherine, Klaus, the entire family of originals who was threatening, not that much but a little. Being at the grill, playing pool, laughing and just living like normal people was thrilling for them and they had to do this more often.
Now, they were sitting in a booth, two plates in front of them, while they were sitting next to each others, wanting to be as close as possible. actually their shoulders were brushing from time to time while they were eating their burgers and fries. Jeremy was often taking glance at his girlfriend, thanking a divinity he didn't even believe in for putting such a wonderful person on his path and he was trying to keep her as safe as possible because a life without her wouldn't be a life, he was sure of it. and she was feeling the exact same thing.
"I love you," blurted out Jeremy in the middle of their conversation, making her smile widely while a thin pinkish layer took a place on her beautiful cheeks. "I love you too," she responded, pressing their lips together, not caring about the people around.
And if their friends were there, they would notice the Gilbert's ring on one of her fingers, like a promising ring, a ring which was promising that she was his family and he would do anything for her. For the others, they just saw a cute couple living the time of their lives together.
