So, when Klaus left mystic falls, she followed without hesitation, the Mikaelson were like family yo her now. She had stayed by the side of the Mikaelson, who all considered her as a sister, they knew that she was their younger brother's soul mate, she was the only one able to calm him down and who truly loved him for who he was. But, when she learnt that Kol, who was in the body of a warlock named Kaleb, had cheated on her with Davina, a witch she had helped when she arrived in New Orleans, her heart broke a little more, if it was possible, and before they could talk, the youngest mikaelson son was dead again.
Davina had eventually brought Kol back to life, but before he died he made it clear to her that he liked her very much but what they had lived had been a mistake and she was pretty much okay with this, because she lost one of the only people she trusted in the process. When Kol had run to join the vampire with the sole purpose to save their relation, she had told him that they were over, that he had gone too far and that she suffered even more than when he died. y.n had packed a suitcase and left the compound to go to a hotel, not wanting to be around Kol for now. For his part, the brunet vampire was a real wreck, he had screwed up, he knew it and because of that he had lost the love of his life. God, he hated himself for what he had done, he felt nothing but sadness and guilt, he was seriously off the rails now. He spent his days in his room, drinking and crying, and as soon as he went out, his siblings could be sure that there would be dead bodies all around the Quarter or even the town. Rebekah, who couldn't stand seeing him like this, had decided to go and see her friend with whom she regularly spoke on the phone, without ever seeing each others. The beautiful blonde knocked on the door of her friend's hotel room, which y.n opened a second later. When Rebekah discovered her friend, she broke down slightly, she wasn't used to see her like that: the young vampire was dressed in a pair of jogging shorts and a sweatshirt that had belonged to Kol before, a sign that she missed him in spite of everything, her hair was tied up in a hurried bun and several strands were escaping from her bun and her eyes were red and puffy from crying.
