Chapter 29

When Rebecca broke the news to her friends about her being pregnant they were over the moon. Ashley had hugged her probably forty times before she calmed down. Pam was excited for her too, although they didn't understand why she was saying goodbye. "We're so happy for you!" Ashley said. "I can't wait to meet it!"

Rebecca had invited them to her bakery while she packed her things. "I can't wait to meet it either!"

Pam knew something was up with the way Rebecca was acting. Pam knew she would never pack up her things, so what was going on? "Becks... is there something you're not telling us?"

Ashley gasped. "Did you cheat on Colby?! Is he the dad?!"

Rebecca turned around waving her hands. "What, no! Colby is the father." She looked at them and teared up. "We're moving. I'm leaving New York."

Ashley and Pam looked at each other with teary eyes. "Wait what...you're leaving?" Ashley sounded heartbroken, and it made Rebecca feel awful.

"Becks you just can't leave..." Pam walked around the counter.

Rebecca let the tears finally fall. "Yeah i'm leaving. Me and Colby are going to find a home in Davenport. We're both wanting to raise our child somewhere besides New York."

Ashley and Pam looked at each other before getting up and hugging Rebecca. "Are we allowed to still be friends? I love you guys, i don't want to lose you."

"Hey Ash... we will always be friends. We have each others numbers so we can talk and call all the time. I can always come and visit or you two can visit us, which ever is easier. But we will always be friends, you're not gonna lose me." She hugged them both again as they all cried.

"I'm going to miss you!" Pam said as she tightened her arms around her.

"I'm gonna be you too Pam." She kissed her cheek before kissing Ashley's. "I'm going to miss you to Ash."

"I'll miss you Becks." Rebecca grabbed the box of her baking supplies. "You be careful, and you keep us updated, don't forget about us ok?"

"I will never forget you! I'll text you every time i can ok? I love you two."

"We love you Becks!" They called out as they watched Rebecca walk away.

Rebecca had called and told her co workers she was leaving and she wished them the best. She cleaned the basement out and put it all in the trunk of her car, before cleaning out the bakery. This was her dream, to start her own bakery and she had done that. Now she was going on to accomplish another dream, and that was to have a family. Before she had met Colby she never thought it would have happened, and now she's leaving New York with her new family.

She loaded everything up in her car before driving back to her apartment. When she arrived she saw the moving truck sitting in Colby's driveway, and she saw him, Jonathan and Joe carrying his couch into the truck. She pulled in her driveway and got out. Renee ran out to her with open arms. "Hey Renee!" She said hugging her.

"Hey girl! Are you feeling ok?" Ever since Renee found out she was pregnant she had checked on her almost everyday.

"I'm ok right now." She looked over and Colby, Jonathan, and Joe as they put his furniture in the truck. "There's room for my stuff right?"

"Girl they already put your furniture in there!"

"Oh ok! That helps me a lot then. I'm going to go in here and pack some things in his car. I'll see you later Renee!" Joe, Jonathan, and Renee had agreed to come with them. They were going to find them a home on a different street than theirs, but close enough in case they needed each other.

Rebecca went back into her apartment and packed her things in three boxes. Most of her stuff Colby had already put in the car, so she only had her personal items to grab and her clothes were already packed in her suitcase. She carried her stuff out to the car before going over to Colby's. "Hey guys."

Joe and Jonathan each have her a hug. "How are you doing, Irish?" Joe asked.

They would always call her red, but she had to get rid of the red hair. Since she was pregnant she couldn't get her hair dyed, so she went back to her natural color, brown/blonde. "I'm doing ok."

Jonathan ruffled her hair. "You excited? Cause i am."

Rebecca laughed. "Yeah i'm excited. Thank you for helping us."

"It's no problem. We just want to make it easier for you guys." Joe said walking back into the apartment.

Jonathan went over to Renee and helped her put the last of their things into the truck. Joe and Colby came out a few minutes later, before Colby locked up the door. Kevin came out as well and ran to Rebecca jumping up to be lifted. "Hi kevin!" She cooed as she picked him up.

Colby waved towards Joe as he got into his car, and Jonathan and Renee got into the truck. Colby went over and kissed Rebecca long and hard. "Are you ready love?"

She returned the kiss. And then they walked hand in hand to the car. Joe drove off first then, Jonathan and Renee started up the truck and followed Joe. When they got into the car kevin jumped into the back seat where Rebecca had laid his favorite cushion. Colby grabbed her hand and kissed her palm. "I love you, both."

She leaned over and kissed him. "We love you too." He rested his hand on her thigh and drove off, leaving New York behind and all of their problems behind.
