And that's exactly what they did. Once it was dark outside, they made sure all of Amanda's things were in the trunk, then they got Roux and put her in her car seat, which they put in the car. Rebecca got in Amanda's car and drove off once she made sure no one was watching her, and Colby drove off a few minutes later in Rebecca's car.Rebecca pulled into Amanda's driveway with Colby behind her. She put Amanda's car in her garage and then got out. She walked over to Colby while he searched for Amanda's keys. "How are we getting rid of her?" Rebecca asked helping him find the keys.
Colby found them and shut the door then walked to the trunk and opened it up. "We're going to make it look like a suicide."
Rebecca looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "How? Why can't we just bury her and go on with our life?"
"Because Amanda is a lot more popular than the other people we killed. If they found out she was murdered the whole town would be looking for her." Him and Rebecca pulled Amanda out of the trunk and carried her to the front door. Rebecca unlocked it then they dragged her in.
They unzipped the body bag and took her out of it. Rebecca and Colby made a disgusted face and she ran to the bathroom to empty out her stomach. Colby followed her in there and held her hair back. "You ain't pregnant are you?" He immediately said laughing.
Rebecca shook her head and laughed. "No. It's just the smell. She's been dead for a while" Colby nodded and Rebecca stood back up and held her breath walking back to Amanda's dead body. She dragged her to the middle of the huge living room they were in. Colby went over and grabbed a rope and walked back over to Rebecca. "So how are we doing this exactly?"
"I'm going to wrap this around her neck and hang her from the stairwell." Rebecca gave him a worried expression. "What? You already broke her neck so it makes it look like a legit suicide." He says wrapping it around her neck.
Rebecca bent down to help him. "Well...i understand what you're trying to do but what if her mom comes over and she has to see her daughter hanging from her ceiling?"
Colby looked up at her as he finished tying the rope around her neck. "Not to sound like a douche, but would you rather go to jail?" Rebecca shook her head. "Well, ok then." He then grabbed the other end of the rope and tied it to the stairwell. He and Rebecca picked her up and watched as she dangled from the stairwell. Colby went and put all of their stuff back into the bag and left the door unlocked as they walked out of the house. Roux was sitting in the running car watching cartoons on an ipad, that was connected to the backseat. Colby took off his gloves and shoved them in a plastic bag and Rebecca did the same before they got into the car and drove off.
And that's what they did a few hours ago. Now it was 1:00 a.m, and Colby and Rebecca were trying to fall asleep. Roux had fallen asleep in the car so all they had to do was put her in her crib once they had gotten home.
Rebecca had tossed and turned, not being able to sleep. She turned around and looked at Colby who had his eyes closed trying to go to sleep. "Colby..."
Colby opened his eyes and squinted at her. "Yeah?"
"What are we doing?" Colby rubbed his eye and looked at her.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean what are we doing with our lives?" Colby moved one arm around her pulling her closer. "We moved here to get away from the killing and now...we've just hoped right back into it."
Colby rubbed his hand up and down her back. "I honestly don't know. I didn't want any of this to happen. We had to do it though, we had to get rid of them."
Rebecca snuggled closer into him. "What are we gonna do? We are supposed to be enjoying our life with our daughter and we can't even do that."
"I have enjoyed it though. I mean i know we've had to deal with Randy, but i've enjoyed every second we've got to spend together." He moved his hand up to her face caressing her cheek. "You two have made me so happy..."
Rebecca traced the letters of his back tattoo. "Do you think we should move again?"
Colby shook his head. "I mean...i don't think we do. We got rid of Amanda, we got rid of Randy...i think we'll be okay."
Rebecca nodded. "We've also made some pretty good friends." Rebecca leaned up and nuzzled his neck. "Maybe now that they're gone we can try to have a normal life."
Colby rubbed one of his hands through her hair while the other one went up and down her back. "Yeah let's hope so." He smiled down at her. "How about this, to start our "new normal life", let's plan our wedding."
Rebecca smiled and rested her forehead against his. "We've been engaged for a year now... we should have already been planning." She said making them both chuckle. "Okay we'll start with the basics. Where do we want to get married?"
Colby wrapped both his arms around her while she wrapped hers around his neck, their foreheads still connected. "I'd marry you anywhere or anytime, but i would love to get married in Hawaii. Right at the beach we got engaged."
Rebecca nodded and smiled even bigger. "I'm glad we both think the same on that one." Colby leaned down and connected their lips. Rebecca's hands trailed through his hair while his roamed her body. He then rolled over top of her as their lips danced passionately. Rebecca started laughing as they broke apart. "You know, we've not been able to do this ever since i got pregnant. And thinking back to it, this used to be our everyday thing." Rebecca said before connecting their lips once again.
Colby smirked against her lips and started trailing down her cheek, then her neck, and then down her chest. He stopped and looked up once he got to her navel. "Well since we're trying to have a normal life...let's start with bringing back our favorite everyday activity." He then left a trail of kisses going up to her neck before he connected their lips once again.
Rebecca moved her hand down to his waist and pulled off his boxers, as he pulled down her panties, and he thrusted into her, starting another long night in bed.
