After talking to Ross, Joshua asked if Matt would send a copy of the will that he had intended on filing to Elizabeth Poldark, with the stipulation that Ross had to live in the current house situated on Nampara if not that the farmhouse went to Eleanor. Hoping when Elizabeth received it she dropped Ross like a hot potato. He thought hopefully Elizabeth would realize Ross would not have the money for years to come. Joshua certainly knew it would take years to gain enough money to renovate the farm house and he wouldn't receive the title if going to Claude.

Ross asked his dad to help him get Eleanor to talk to him. His dad set up a dinner date with Eleanor at a restaurant he knew she liked. Ross arrived early and put a large bouquet of roses on the table. Once Eleanor was seated, she sat at the table wondering where Joshua was. Ross approached her and she was looking at her phone, he sat down. "You look absolutely beautiful, my love!" She looked up at the sound of his voice "what are you doing here?" "I have kept my promise to Francis now it is Elizabeth's family and Francis's or whoever is the father to look after the boy he is not mine. There is only one person I want to be the mother of my children and that is you! I love you, I have since the first day we met and I hope you will give me the rest of our lives to love and cherish you."

Tears fell from her eyes, "Ross you say that but she won't stop until you are hers again." Ross chuckled "that will never happen because first I don't want her! Second, Dad and I have a plan. He is sending her the Will that states I lose everything if I marry her including Nampara if we don't live in the original house. She'll go after someone else and I can actually cut her from my life until you and I are married once that is down she will have no hope of gaining anything. Please say you will marry me?"

Ross said, "I can my love I can," and placed the ring his father had given his mother on her finger! They went back to the penthouse were Joshua was waiting and he kissed her cheek and then his sons. Claude jumped up and down singing I get you for my sister now yada yada yada!" Joshua told them Grace would be so happy, now Ross finally had the right partner. Ross took Joshua home with a promise to return the following night. Eleanor and he decided they would wait until the wedding night to sleep together, with the condition from Ross they could be married within the month.

Ross wasn't surprised when Elizabeth didn't call any longer and then he heard that she accepted George Warleggan's proposal.

Ross agreed, then told Eleanor he really thought she should stay on as CEO and keep the shares. She agreed but stated the shares should be split between them and if once they started having children they would rethink the CEO position.

Caroline was out with Eleanor looking for wedding dresses when they came across Elizabeth. Elizabeth was with Ruth Teague looking for brides maids dresses when she came over to taunt Eleanor. Caroline said, "yes we heard about your marriage to poor George. Does he know what a money hungry whore you are?" Eleanor pulled Caroline away before she could let it slip about Ross's and her marriage! Elizabeth aske Ruth, "what do you suppose those two are up to." Ruth said who cares Geoge gave cardblanc to get whatever you desired so let's go shopping!" Eleanor, Ross Claude, Verity, Andrew and the Enys all went to London went to look for the wedding dress and Caroline's matrin of honor and Verity's brides maid dress. Joshua and Caroline's Uncle Ray decided to spend the weekend together, which they were thoroughly going to enjoy even though Eleanor told Jake it was his duty to take care of the two elderly gentlemen.
Ross, Claude, and Dwight accompanied the women on their shopping trips but were not allowed to go into the dress boutiques with them. They all found beautiful gowns that could be worn for other occasions and Dwight, Claude, and Ross was fitted and purchased new tuxedo's. Claude said, "i look like James Bond!" They purchased some good wine and some chocolate for Joshua and Ray as gifts. Claude hug Eoss and then Demelza, "I love you and I am glad I am home with the family."
