Nyla's POV:

"I was told that there was another death at a different establishment, the couple didn't make it to the door." Chief steps away from the whiteboard with different names written, pictures of faces and places. I look at Pheonix sitting next to me among the group of agents on this case that just has gotten bigger.

2 deaths doubled to 4 meaning no one has found the killer. "Same thing as what we found at the Kirk business tower, we ruled that it's the same person due to what was left behind." Cheif speaks up look at all of us. "Did we get the names and files of the victims?" I ask and he nods passing folders out around the table.

"We identified the victims, the two women you see both work at separate services, sexual services, escorts per see and the males we suspect were clients. We got ahold of the business owner and we're working towards getting a list of names that work under the businesses." He explains, man this dude is rich as fuck.

"Do we have camera footage of anything?" Another agent speaks up, "Yes we do and that's what I move on to next. I've sent agents to track down people in the video that could have any relation to our four victims, once they're here you will conduct the interrogation." He explains and we all nod.

"That's all for now, keep your pagers, more information will sent throughout the day, you're dismissed." He waves us off and an orchestra of chairs screeched the floor as we all filed out of the conference room and the hall was filled with small talk. "So much for having a day off." Pheonix scoffs and I hum continuing to look through the file.

"Do you guys think the killer will go after more people?" I look to my side seeing another agent who's on the case, Agent Kaija Nelson, a girl with an IQ so high she's literally a genius in any subject but she has her moments but there's nothing you can't like about her.

"Probably we can see a pattern already." Pheonix answers and I agree, "Whoever is killing is most likely not done because the first time should've been satisfying enough." I close the folder turning to the short girl. "You're right, maybe you should lead the case." She smiles and I immediately shake my head.

"No thank you, I think Chief's got this one." I tell her looking back at Pheonix, "I heard he's looking for someone to take over at some point." She whispers to me. "Hell yeah baby! I take this one!" We hear the most hated agent in the entire world. "Shut up Brady!" We tell the smirking idiot, the only reason he's here is because his dad works here. Fucking brat.

"Please don't let him take over otherwise the entire population might go instinct, I'll see you two later." She makes a turn into a different hall letting her hand linger on my arm. "She likes you." Pheonix chuckles and I roll my eyes at him. "No, she doesn't." I contradict him leading the both of us to our desks.

"I say otherwise, she's been sweet on you since she transferred." He leans on my desk, "Well yeah because the rest of you didn't give her a chance and now look at her, she's one of the best. She learned more than what fucking Brady did and he's been here for eight years, she's been here for two." I raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah I guess but what are you going to do about possibly taking over the case?" He asks and I shrug, "Probably wait till I get more info then say something but taking charge is something I want to avoid for now." I tell him and he pats my back before walking to his desk and then I stare at my screen remembering that I took the paper from the victim's pocket.

Amelia's POV:

"Auntie Amelia." "Shhhh she's sleeping." "No she isn't Mason." "Yeah see she's stretching." I hear little voices next to me and I force my eyes open pulling my arm from the side of the couch. "Auntie Amelia it's me, Mia." The little girl smiles and I smile seeing the three of them hover above me.
