Chapter 55

Jae seemed to be in a good mood since the time we had our lunch. I don't know what's gotten into him but he kept on glancing and smiling at me like a cute puppy.

"One more look Jae and I'm not gonna hesitate to squish your cheeks." I said as I caught him off guard staring at me again as we walks back to the hotel's exit.

Everyone had a great meal and it seems like in need of rest. I mean, just look back on to what happened today. Surely lots of dramas in life.

"Why can't I smile as I stare at my beautiful wife? Hmmm?" he asked as he tightened his gripped on my waist pulling me closer to him.

"Shut it Jae, you'll wake her up" I joked as I gently held my belly, guiding it.

"Let her know that Daddy's excited to see his little ice" He replied

I just shook my head off and continued walking, we should catch up with our friends. They're already settled inside the car and we're falling back behind. I know how tired they are right now and I don't wanna be a trouble for them.

"Hey are we having a marathon?"

"Yes so please keep up" I replied as I tried to make big steps forward.

"Glacier" he said but I didn't listen.

Oh God I'm freaking sweating already. I just had like three steps! I'm getting tired and lazy these days that it's making it hard for me to move.

"Wife" he muttered, enough for me to hear it but still I didn't stop.

"Jae!" I yelled as I felt my body being lifted from the ground.

"Put me down!" I said

I can hear my heavy breathing passing through my ears, tiredness all over my body.

"Jae I--"

"I know hush" he whispered, making me feel calmed for a moment.

The next thing I knew is that I'm inside a car and that our friends are not here. Realization hits me when I realized that this isn't the car we used earlier. It was a limousine and this is just.. a car for four people.

I looked around and saw a driver on his seat with no one on the passenger's seat. Where the hell am I?

Suddenly, the car beside me opened and my worries went down as I saw the man I loved the most entered the car and sat beside me.

"I'm sorry did I make you worry?" he asked

"Not reall--"

Just like that, he a planted a kiss on my forehead followed by a rub on my stomach.

"Baby you shouldn't have done that. You're about to pass out earlier and you just got out of the hospital." he calmly said but I can still feel the worry inside.

He's right.

I'm a mother now, we'll I'm about to be.

I shouldn't be making impulsive decisions and should've been thinking of my family right now. I'm so selfish for thinking that way.

"Where's my friends?" I asked him

"Don't worry, Jay had my words" he said as he leans his chin on the top of my head with his arms wrapped around my shoulders.

"You really trust that guy huh?" I asked him, trying to look up unto his handsome face for thousand times.

"He's a good guy" he replied

"I don't really trust him but I trust you"

He smiled at my reply and that's when I knew that trusting him would be the best for now.
