Miki's POV:
"Weren't you mad?" I asked grandpa, while washing the dishes. He was sitting behind the counter sipping his beer.
"About?"
"Grandma getting hurt."
"No. I was totally ok with it. Of course I was mad." he rolled his eyes.
"Jeez I was just asking."
"Well it was a stupid question."
"You know what?" I told him, dropping the plate I had in my hand. It's annoying when people comment on my being your typical blond retard and grandpa sure does know how to push my buttons which I never knew I had.
"What?" he shot back.
"Nothing." I squeaked. "You can, ya know, get on with your story, while im washing the dishes and stuff." Lay off the beer, is what I wanted to tell him.
"Okay." he said, his grumpy face turning into a thoughtful, happy one......

Tyler's POV:
..... A week and a few days later Ivy was looking beautiful than ever since her face was mostly bruise free now.
Ivy and I decided to ditch school after lunch again and just spend the rest of the day on the beach where we had our first date. We were sitting on the hood of my car just basking in the sun.
She was leaning back on my chest and I had my arms around her waist. We both had small smile on our lips as we cuddled together. Every now and then I would whisper sweet little nothings to her ear which would have her giggling.
I just wanted her to forget all the bad things right now. Well every time she was with me actually.
"Wanna come with me?" I asked her.
"It's not like I have a choice. You are my ride." she rolled her eyes.
"Oh yeah." I said and she laughed.
We hopped off the hood and got in the car.
I started driving when she asked, "Where are we going anyways?"
"Back to school to pick up my sisters."
I can't believe I left Claire at school. Im such a dumbass.
"I never knew you had a sister." she said, her eyebrows scrunching up together.
"I don't. I have two." I said, parking in an empty spot.
We walked in school hand in hand and started walking towards the daycare.
People were looking at us weirdly and whispering.
Are they dating? I thought they were just friends. Aw he's taken. Omg its that freak. What's he doing with a girl like her?Dude, they've been dating. Aww they are so cute together. Damn, I never knew she was that hot.
Ivy and I ignored it as usual.
I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze and she smiled at me and squeezed my hand back.
"Tylie!" Claire screamed when she saw me.
She ran to me and I picked her up. Ivy was grinning at us.
"Your here to pick me up? Where's mommy and daddy?"
"They couldn't pick you up today but remember that girl I told you about last week?" I asked her.
