Miki's POV:
I woke up to the smell of breakfast. I put on a bath robe to keep me warm and headed to the kitchen.
"The snows melting." grandpa said, frowning.
"That's a good thing." I chirped, grabbing bacon off his plate.
"Not really." he said.
"Why?" I asked, munching on the bacon.
I walked around the counter to get orange juice and suddenly stepped in a puddle of water.
"Somebody spilled water." I said. I shook my foot and tried to get my it dry again.
"Thats why." grandpa said as I poured everyone a glass of OJ. "It's leaking everywhere and soon the house is gonna flood and its gonna break down on us. It's possible were going to be literally crushed, not to mention freeze."
"Thats horrible! Were gonna die!" I cried, spilling juice everywhere.
I started to hyperventilate like yesterday when I found out we were snowed in. It just keeps getting worse!
"I hope the rangers get here soon." grandpa mumbled, still frowning.
"We need to do something!" I wailed running towards him and grabbed his collar. Im too young to die!
He pried his fingers off me and gave me an annoyed look.
I could imagine what I look like. Disheveled with a horrified expression. I probably had tears in my eyes too.
Soon when a tear escaped my eyes his look turned into guilt and pity.
Suddenly he started to laugh and turned to my grandma.
I looked at them confused, a few tears now running down my face now.
"I win." he said.
"Whatever." grandma scoffed and threw a 20 at him.
Grandpa took it and lifted it to the light. He glared at it.
"This is fake." he growled, throwing it back at her.
"You weren't really specific." grandma said, smirking. "Now clean up the water you spilled."
"Wait." I said, still standing in the same place as grandpa bent down and cleaned the water with towel paper.
"So there really isn't a leak? And the house is safe?" I asked.
"Yep." grandpa said.
"And you guys bet to see if I would freak out or not?" I asked, wiping my tears.
"Yep." grandma said.
"You guys are mean." I glared. I huffed and stomped to the living room.
About an hour later everyone was huddled around the fireplace drinking hot chocolate like the first day.
"So many things happened on Claire's birthday. It was hectic." grandpa started.....

Tyler's POV:
I woke up early to help mom with breakfast.
Last night, Ivy fell asleep during the car ride so it was kinda hard sneaking her in. She slept on my bed while I slept on the foot of it. I made sure to lock my door so nobody would know and freak out.
Soon mom and dad left with the kids to get decorations, cake, and the whole shebang. I told them I would stay and sleep in for a few more hours.
So when they left I went to my room and brought Ivy breakfast.
