Third Person
Kaminari set down the small medal onto his desk, staring at it with an expressionless face. He turned to look at his door as he heard a knock and the door starting to open slowly.
"Hey," Shinsou said softly, Kaminari nodding his head towards him to greet him back, "I saw the ceremony on TV, 'grats."
"Oh," Kaminari's face reddened a bit and he bit his lip. "Yeah, thanks." he looked away and back at the medallion, "it's not like I single-handedly took down a mob boss," Kaminari joked, taking the medallion and putting it into a random drawer in his desk.
"Yeah, but you still took him down," Shinsou crossed his arms and leaned onto the door frame, his eyes following Kaminari as he started to unpack his luggage. "Need help?"
"No, I'm good," the blond answered quickly. He took a deep breath as he turned to look at Shinsou, "are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna leave?"
Shinsou paused for a second and his lips turned to a thin line, "yeah," he whispered, tapping his fingers on the door frame and leaving to his own room not before closing the door to Kaminari's dorm.
Kaminari turned back to organizing his clothes and things back to the way they were before he left for the internship.
He thought about his relationship with Shinsou when he couldn't sleep and he just didn't seem to find an answer.
They're friends, sure, but doesn't a crush ruin a friendship if the feelings aren't mutual?
Kaminari wasn't the type of person to brush off his confession as a prank or a dare because he felt it was the wrong thing to do. He didn't like lying, but he also isn't the type of person to confess without thinking over it first.
No, at this point it was unrequited love and not just a stupid crush.
Kaminari cracked his fingers and stretched after he put the last shirt into his closet, turning back to look at the door again.
He kind of feels bad pushing Shinsou away but he's so tired. He's so confused and oh so afraid.

"Okie," Ashido started, clapping her hands together as the last hero course student took their seat, "2-A and 2-B, you might be wondering why we've gathered you all here today!" Ashido kept going, Iida, Bakugou, and Kendo glaring at her.
Iida grabbed the sheet of paper Ashido was holding and showed it to Bakugou, who started yelling at her for snooping through his laptop as Iida and Kendo explained what was happening.
"We are going to be having a Never Have I Ever game between the two classes," Kendo pointed at the brick wall turned blackboard in the middle of the basketball courtyard between the 2-A and 2-B dorm buildings.
*totally didn't copy this trope from a Kiribaku fanfic pfft what?
Iida gestured at the board as it changed to a screen with all of the 40 names on it, "this will be a bit different from the regular game. We have a sensory system layed out on the basketball court so when you are lying about a question, you will get marked on the board. 10 marks and you're out of the game."
"We are doing this exercise so the two classes can start trusting each other a bit," Kendo smiled at the classes and sat down in her seat, Iida following suit. "Just raise your hand as a way to say yes."
Bakugou messed with his laptop a bit and opened up a questions folder programmed by the support course to add to the sensors. He sat back down and the questions started rolling with the students answering mostly truthfully.
"Have you ever been harmed by a loved one?"
Kaminari and Kirishima were the only ones from 2-A to raise their hands while Monoma was the only one from 2-B, their hero course classmates staring at each of them with concern but not elaborating further.
More questions rolled by and about 10 students were out.
"Have you ever seen a crime group up close?"
The work study students raised their hands, Shinsou raising his hand as well without anyone's realization except for Kaminari, which already knew the tragic story behind it.
"Do you have a crush?"
So many strikes.
"Wait-" Bakugou turned his head to look at the laptop and noticed that there was now a small icon of Hatsume with her tongue sticking out, he groaned and sighed. He looked over at Kendo and Iida who signalled for him to let it go on with a smile.
"Are you going to confess soon?"
More buzzings for strike indicators.
"Are they here?"
So much noise...
Bakugou shut off the program and closed the laptop, ready to go yell at Hatsume but Kendo took the laptop for him with a calm smile and went to do presumably what he had wanted.
