Chapter 15

As soon as I walked in I was engulfed in Pepdo-Bismol pink. It made me

want to through up! I mean I like pink but, not like that. It was pink

everywhere, I mean everywhere! My mom automatically pushed me towards the

nail station. Oh boy!

They sat me down in a pink chair and two very pink people came out

from the back room. They grabbed my hand, one each and started to file

them. "Ounch!" I yelled. I don't think thy heard me over all of the

girl noise. I'm girly girl but, this is too much. I tried to pull my

hand away but they just grabbed tighter. "Mom!" I yelled. I turned

around looking for her to save me but she had her eyes closed,

actually enjoying this torture. "Oh goodness" I mumbled to myself.

They plastered powder puff pink nail polish on my nails. It would

have been cute if I wasn't so disgusted with the color. I groaned as

the pulled me on to the next station.

They tried to take off my make-up and pit there pink stuff on me but I

ran. I was looking for an exit but ever tunnel lead to another castle

of pink. I was about to give up, but then I saw a little curtain on the

side of the pink wall, it wasn't the same color of pink so that's why

I noticed it. I made my way threw all the little pink girls and pulled

the curtain back.

I was greeted with one of the prettiest colors I possibly could see

right now, dark purple and black. The room was pretty cramped but I

didn't really care. There was a couch and a little fridge, a tv and a

radio in the corner. On the couch sat a girl a little older than me,

probably about 15. She had dark colors on and the lights were dim, so

I couldn't make out her futures. I walked up to the couch and stude

there, hoping that she would see me.

"Umm, is it all right if I stay in here awhile? It's getting crazy out

there!" I said.

She just nodded so, I went and sat on the couch. She had dark brown,

almost black hair and it looked like she has purple contacts in. "Nice

contacts" I commented.

"Thanks, my mom hates them, so that why I have them" she said

nonchalantly. I laughed, she wasn't being very talkative, I'm going to

change that.

"Alright, so why do you have to be here? Well I'm guessing you don't

want to be here" I said turning in towered her.

She gave a look but then answered, "Both of my parents work here, they

told me I have to stay here until I become a more girly girl, I tried

to stay at friends houses but, they wouldn't have it. That don't know

about this room though" she smiled.

"That must suck, I'm hear because I had boyfriend problems. My mom

thought that this would cheer me up" I said. "I hate it here" she said.

"Its not really my favorite, I like pink, but not that much!" I

almost yelled the last part. "Where are we?" I asked.

"Well, it used to be a storage room, but I concerted it" she said.

"Well, I like what you've done with the place" I laughed. She laughed

too, there we go.

She had put in the movie, Grownups so we were both laughing like

crazy. We chatted about different things. I told her about what has

been going on in my family and she just gave me a sympathetic look.

She told me about her life, and from what I heard she doesn't have a

bad life. For one she has both her mom and her dad. They might love

pink but at least she has both. She has a boyfriend who didn't cheat on

her and her grandma didn't die. I think I won on the bad life little

thing we were going through.

She was actually very pretty in the light. Although you couln't really

see her because she had on a big sweat shirt. My phone rang in my

pocket and I slide it out. A text from my mom, saying, 'where are you

we need to go' I sighed and texted back that I would be at the exit.

"Well, I'm going to have to go, thanks for saving me from all the

torture!" I said.

"Yeah, thanks for being in here. I'm glad I had someone to talk to"

she said smiling.

We exchanged numbers and I left. I surprisingly did have fun with Emmi.

She hates her name but I actually like it. I made my way out to the

exit. I could actually see because there wern't very many people there

anymore. I saw my mom and kinda jog/walked the rest of the way. "So,

did you have fun?" she asked. "Yeah, it was really great" I lied. Oh

well, she will never know.
