Chapter 16

Dear Diary,

Life has been extremely boring lately. We haven't been to any vacation 

spots since dad left. I hate the boy problems and all the crap I have 

been going through lately. I wish I could just wake up from this 

nightmare. We are supposed to be having a fun family vacation, but 

changed intirely. I guess I have to go now.

I know I said that I would stop writing in the diary but there has 

been so much to say. I sould just call it my drama diary. I laughed at 

the thought. I heard a knock at the door. I set down my Diary and 

skipped my way to the door. I opened it and my smile vanished it was 

Luke. I slammed the door in his face and started to walk away.

"Please, Zoey! I need to talk to you"

I reluctantly went back to the door and opened it just a crack. "What 

do you want?" I asked.

"Well, I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dine that. And 

also that it really wasn't what it looks like"

I opened up the door all the way and let him in. I went into my room 

and he followed me. I layed down on my bed and he followed suit. "So 

tell me what really happened" I said in a calm voice.

"Well... One of the days you were gone I was really board so, I 

scrolled down the contact list on my phone. I came to Amy and I 

thought 'Maybe she will want to hang out' Apparently she didn't think 

of it as a friendly hang out. We watched a movie and everything but, 

in the middle of the movie... she uh, kissed me. It was kinda how you 

kissed me and so I I kissed her back. And what you saw the day you 

came back was not my fault. She just grabbed my hand and wouldn't let 

go. I try, belive me I tried. But she wouldn't let go, so I just gave 

up"

I paused considering his words. I don't know if I would believe the 

story from anyone else but, I saw the truth in his eyes. I took a deep 

breath and then wrapped my arms around his neck in a hug.

"Im sorry I doubted you" I said into his shoulder.

"And I'm sorry I kissed her back" he whispered.

"Stop reminding me" I laughed.

He pulled away from me and said, "It wouln't happen again" He grabed 

my shoulders and kissed me. Of course I kissed him back, it just 

wasn't the same as before. I pulled away and blushed as always.

"Well, I guess I'll go" I smiled.

"Yeah, I'll call you later" he said, walking away.

Now I need to go deal with Amy. That will be fun.
