(A/n I just want to let you guys know that this is taking place in mid/late fall. Were I am from the first snow fall is around this time so I'm sorry if this confused some of you! 😅)

You wake you to a knock at your door. "Just a few more minutes..." your grumble as you roll over on you side. "No get up breakfast is on the table!" You let out a yawn as you practically fall out of bed. You take a shower and put on your uniform.

You run downstairs and sit down to a nice plat of oatmeal. You quickly eat then grab your backpack and rush out the door.

Your glanced at you phone to see that you were early, like normal. You slow your walk you at the sidewalk.

"Yo wait up!" You turn around to see Bennett jogging towards you. You stop and let him catch up. You roll up his sleeve and look at the bandage Barbra put on his wound. "I'm ok y/n!! Barbra said I'm good to go!" He gave you a huge smile and a thumbs up.

You sigh as the two of you continue walking. You make it to the school and head to home room. You walk into the room to see chongyun sit at his desk looking through his bag.

"Hey bro!" Bennett says going over and violently putting a hand on Chongyuns shoulder. He jumped a little in his seat and you giggled. He looked back down and covered the side of his face with his hand. Bennett nudged him with his elbow. "Bennett don't you dare..."

You kinda just and just watch them argue for a soiled 5 minutes. Finally Chongyun let out a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. "I forgot my homework... might as well get started" he said plopping he's math book on the desk. He feels a sight tap on his shoulder. He turns to see you holding out a piece of paper. "You can copy mine if you need to!"

He looked a little shocked at first but then he had a warm expression. "Thanks! I owe you!" He took the sheet of paper and started writing on his own.

Class goes one as normal and it's finally lunchtime. You put your books in your locker and you start to make your way to the cafeteria when something catches your eye. On the large bulletin board outside the cafeteria was a flyer that read "School Dance!" (A/n sorry if some high schools don't have dances that aren't prom but I'm just going with it :/ )

Your face instantly lit up. Theres a school dance?! Omg I'm so excited! I wonder if anyone will ask me!...

Your mind seemed to be stuck on that thought. What if someone actually asked you, what would you do! You decide to think about that later and you headed into the cafeteria.

You sit down at a empty table after looking around and not seeing anyone. You take out your lunch and begin to eat.

Suddenly something covers your eyes. "Guess who?!" "Haha very funny Hu Tao." Your friend takes the seat next to you. "Ah man how did you know it was me?" "Who else would it be?" She rolled her eyes

"So you heard about the school dance!" She said with a wide smile. "Are you gonna ask someone?" You nearly choke on you food. "Me! Ask someone? Oh hell no!" She gives you a sly grin and put her arm around your shoulder. "Well I have someone in mind for you." Your face became bright red at her comment. "Well hey! Your not denying it" you looked her dead in the eyes and she flinched a little.

—back with the boys—

Chongyun and Bennett both got out of science a little late. "Soo I heard there's a schools dance coming up." Chongyun stops dead in his tracks. "Did you just say school dance..." Chongyun never really liked dance. There were always too many girl asking him to go with them and he always felt bad saying no. But this one was going to be different. Bennett put his hand over his mouth and let out a little snicker "1 you look hilarious standing there like that ,and 2, why are you so surprised... ohh don't tell me you going to-" "be quite"

The two of them started to made their way to the cafeteria as well. "I'm just say you should! There's no harm in trying!" Chongyun looked at the floor. "Yeah I guess your-" "so your admitting you like her."
Chongyun looked Bennett in the eyes. "Is it that obvious?"

"Maybe just a little. But that's not the point here! And don't worry your secret safe with me." Chongyun gave him a questioning look. They entered the room and sat next to you and Hu Tao. "Soo did you guys miss me!" Bennett said opening his lunch. "I mean yeah it's kinda boring without you two being here!" You said with a smile. Bennett look over at Chongyun who just looked at his lap.

I can only wish she asked me first...
