Just why Hu Tao?

" Wakey Wakey!" The shades fly open and sun light hits you face. "Damnit Hu Tao!" You say as you fall of your bed and hit the ground with a thump. "I-it's too bright!" You cover your eyes. "You slept in soooo late!!" Hu Tao said pulling on your sleeve. "I got so board so I texted Chongyun Xingqiu and Bennett to see if they wanted to come-"

"You did what now..." you said as looked at her with a blank face. "Oh don't get mad at me! Your mom was the one who suggested it! I went downstairs and we had a chat. She said if you wanted to you could invite everyone over. You were asleep so I took it upon myself to invite everyone, it is a weekend after all!!"

"Why."

"They should be here any minute, xingqiu said he could come, family matters or some shit like that"
You just starred at you friend. What the hell is happening, I just woke up. I'm too tired for this.

Before you could say anything someone rang the doorbell. "Come on get up lazy!" You we're still sprawled out on the floor. You could hear your mom answer the door. "Oh they're upstairs! They're in y/n's room!" You hear footsteps coming up the stairs and Hu Tao leaves you laying on the floor.

You can hear them talking and decide to get up and open the door. You let out a yawn as you open the door. "So who did you invite over..." you stop seeing Chongyun and Bennett right in front of you. You let out another yawn and scratch your head. You hair was probably a mess but you didn't care, you probably should, but you didn't.

You rub your eyes with your sleeve that was quite longer then your arm. Light pink dusting your cheeks. You opened your eyes and looked at Chongyun who looked quite flustered for some reason. Everyone just kinda stood there, starring at each other.

Chongyun was trying to look everywhere that there wasn't a pair of eyes. "Uh Chongyun you good?" Bennett said putting a hand on his shoulder. He jumped a little but nodded his head. "Yeah I'm fine, just tried."

You looked at him with an odd look. You let out yet another yawn and looked at your sleeve. You quickly realize that you were wearing his sweatshirt. You let out a small squeak and your face turned bright red. "Uhh y/n are you ok?" Bennett said putting a hand on the back of neck. Hu Tao just stood there trying not to burst out laughing.

"What the hell is wrong with everyone today!" Bennett said. Chongyun looked at you in disbelief.
S-she's wearing my sweatshirt. It could be that she just picked the first thing on her dresser. But what if she wanted to wear it, does that mean Bennett is right, she does like me.

He blinked a few times and you just looked at the floor. Oh archons I'm so stupid! Why if all times did Hu Tao have to invite everyone over. She probably did this on purpose.

You stepped aside so everyone could come in the room. "Oh my you should see your face" Hu Tao said with a giggle. You just rolled your eyes. Everyone came in and sat in a small circle. "Sooo everyone! What should we do." Hu Tao said being as joyful as ever. Bennett just shot confused glances between you and Chongyun.

"Good talk, good talk."

"So how was everyone's day!" Hu Tao was trying to start a conversation, it wasn't working so well. "It was awesome! I woke up at 5:30-" "OH A WEEKEND! BENNETT WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!"

You all started talking about how abnormal early Bennett wakes up and you start to get hungry. You realize that you haven't had breakfast. "I'm gonna go grab some snacks, anyone want to come?" You say getting up.

You didn't notice when Hu Tao shot Bennett a look that said "go with her now or else" and nodded her head towards the door. He instantly shot up. "Yes yes I am extremely hungry too let's go get a snack y/n!" He quickly pushes you out the door and brings you downstairs.

"You know she's wearing your sweatshirt right." Chongyun jumps in his seat and slowly turns his head to look at hu Tao. "Uh yeah I noticed, she probably just put it on without thinking-" "no she knew it was yours." Hu Tao said with a cheerful smile. Chongyun could feel himself heat up. "It's obvious you like her, but not for her." He looked at the ground.

Foot steps could be heard In the hall. The door flung open and you and Bennett were standing in the middle holding a bunch of junk food. "Everyone I have a proposal! Let's all go hilichurl hunting tomorrow! I'm pretty sure Xingqiu is free so we can invite him if you guys want!"

"That sounds sick!" Bennett said as he stuffed his face with food. "Alright its settled! We will meet at the large oak, I will tell xingqiu." Hu Tao said

"I can't wait!"

(A/n tomorrow is Bennett's birthday! I might possibly do a birthday special but probably not because school is starting to get busy again and I probably shouldn't be staying up till 1 in the morning writing fanfic T-T
