Caught

~~~Bennett's POV~~~

"Jeez todays such a bore!" I say as I flop down face first on my bed. I pull out my phone and start scrolling trough different apps. I wasn't really paying attention, I was mostly just thinking to myself

When I first meet chongyun we were young, like 4 or 5. He was my best friend in grade school, we did everything to together. I remember the day when he told me he was moving, my heart sank not knowing if I would ever see him again.

I as alone for awhile, I didn't have any friends. But I remember that one day very vividly.

~~~Flashback~~~

I was in fifth grade. It was recess and everyone ran out the large doors. I walked over to my normal spot and sat down. Pull out a sandwich as I watch my classmates run and laugh.

"Are you ok? You look sad." I look up to see a girl with h/c and e/c colored eyes. I look at my sandwich and she sits down besides me. "Don't be sad!!" She says looking at me.

"Do you want to be friends?" I look at her, happiness fills my heart. " of course!! Let be best friends!!" She giggle. "Best friends forever!"

I set my phone down and look at the ceiling. "I'll go on a walk, it's a beautiful day." I jump out of bed and go downstairs. I grab my shoes and head out the door. It truly was a beautiful day outside and I begin walking towards town.

I squint my eyes as I see a Familiar figure ahead of me.  "Xingqiu!"  I yell as the navy haired boy turns his head. He waves as I catch up to him.

"Out on a walk I see." He says as we begin to walk. I nod as I look around at the beautiful scenery. We started talking and soon enough we were in town.

Xingqiu stops and I look at him with a puzzled look. "Is that who I think it is?" I follow his gaze to see Y/n and Chongyun. "Are they on a date!" I gasp as I look at them.

"We should follow them! It would be fun!" I grab a hold of Xingqiu's hand and walk closer to them. "It would be fun they said."

We watch them walk into a cafe. I pull Xingqiu and we sit out side on a beach. The whole front of the cafe was glass so we could see everything inside.

"I swear if we get caught your dying first." Xingqiu says crossing his arms. "Ahh they might hear us." He turns his head and raises an eyebrow. "We are outside-" "shh!"

He rolls his eyes and we watch them get something to eat and sit down. They picked a table close to the window. "There going to see us." "It's going to be fine." I say as I lean forward in the seat.

Chongyun ruffles y/ns hair as she eats what looks to be a muffin. Xingqiu sighs. "I wish someone would do that with me..." he mutters under his breath. I gasp. "Xingqiu does this mean you have your eye on a special someone!" He turns bright red not thinking I hear him. "I swear to Barbados if you tell a soul!" He points a finger at me. "Jezzs jezzs calm down."

Y/n had her back turned to the window and chongyun was across from her. He looks at her and smiles. His gaze drifts beyond her and meets yours. His mouth drops open. Xingqiu leans back and sighs. "I told you this should happen."

A confused y/n follows his gaze and her mouth drops open. "Your dying first." Xingqiu says looking at me. Chongyuns eyes narrow at us. "Oh shit there coming over." He says as the they get up and being to walk over. "What do want me to do?" He just roles his eyes again.

"Hi friends!" I hear a voice say. I slowly look to see Chongyun and y/n standing there. "How long we're you watching us?" Chongyun asks narrowing his eyes. "Its all his idea I had nothing to do with it." "Oh you had enough to do with it." Y/n says. Xingqiu gulps. "We were just walking along and saw a nice place to sit, it is a truly beautiful day!" He says with a  nervous smile, avoiding the first question.

Her eyes shifted to look at me. "A truly beautiful day huh?" She says looking down at me. "Yep a very very beautiful day indeed! Now Xingqiu and I need to go do something so we will see you guys later!" I say quickly as I grab his arm and run away, dragging him behind me.

"Few that was a close one." I say as we finally get out of view of them. Xingqiu puts his hands on his knees. "D-did you really have to drag me like that?" He says in between breaths. "Sorry not sorry!"
