The dance

Many days go bye. Xingqiu started hanging with you guys more. Teachers didn't give you that much homework, thank archons. Except for your math teacher, who gave you a ton load of homework, but that's normal.

You awake you wake up and look at your phone. It was the day of the dance and you were so excited You figured you could head over to Hu Taos place a little early so you guys could hang out. You grab all your thing. You picked out a dress that your mom got you awhile ago but have never worn. It was a beautiful short black dress with Lace on top that had constellation on it.

(Looked kinda like this but the lace was shorter. If you don't like this dress you can always pick a different style :3 )

You pack everything in a bag and head downstairs. "Hello sweetheart! Off to Hu Taos?" She asks as she looks through the fridge. "Yes mom, I'll see you after the dance." "And if you want you can invite Hu Tao to come over and sleepover after is you want!" She says as she takes the bread out of the fridge. "That would be awesome! Thanks mom!" You go and give your mom a hug and head out the door.

It was a cold afternoon and you wished you were wearing something heavier. You finally make it to your friends house. You see Hu Tao already standing in the doorway. "Y/n! Are you ready for the dance!" She says letting you into the house. "I'm a little nervous, but it will be fine, hopefully."

She lets out a laugh as she brings you upstairs to her room. "Oh you my mom said you can come over to my house after and you can stay over if your parents are ok with it!"

"That would be awesome thank you!" She says as she does a little spin. You let out a laugh. "This day is going to be awesome!"

The two of you goof off your awhile and it becomes time to get ready for the dance. Hu Tao had a medium length red dress that fit her very well. You put a little makeup on but you tried not to make it to noticeable. You weren't used to going to things like this so you were being safe.

"So are you nervous?" She says as she puts on some lipgloss. "If I'm going to be honest, a little. I don't normally go to things like this." She raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry and just have fun!" You give her a nervous laugh.

You guys finish getting ready and head over. You were a little late, fashionably late. When you enter you realize there's not as many people as you expect and you calm down a little. There was a long table of foods and beverages. Hu Tao quickly grabs your hand and drags you to the middle of the large room and begins dancing to the music. You just stood there swaying your head back and forth the the music as you watched Hu Tao dance her heart out.

She gasps and puts a hand on your arm. "Look the boys are over there!" She pointed to your friends. You two begin to walk over.

Bennett lets out a snicker and nudges Chongyun. "Oh Chongyun your date is here." Chongyun turns around. "What do you mean by date Bennett-" his words cut short. His eyes on you. Heat instantly rushed to his face. Snap out of it Chongyun. He shook his head trying to make himself snap out of it.
