Adventure of a lifetime

You pick up your phone on the night stand. "Almost time to go out with everyone." You groan letting your hand fall or the side of the bed.

You sit up and rub your eye. "I should get changed." You grab your clothes and get changed. You clip your cryo vision on the back. You let out a yawn and go downstairs.

You put a piece of bread in the toaster. Better not go on an empty stomach. It pops up, a little burnt, but still edible. You shove the piece of toast in your mouth and head out the door.

This is the first time you fought anything with your friends besides Bennett, so you were a little nervous. You walk up to the oak hu Tao mentioned. You saw your friend and waved. Hu Taos face lit up and she run over to you. "Y/n I love your outfit!" "Yours is amazing as well!" She had a dark brown coat over a red shirt. She was also wearing a hat with some pretty red flowers.

"Y/n! Hu Tao!" You both turned your head to see Bennett running towards you. "Hi Bennett!" You say with a smile. "Did you see Chongyun or Xingqiu on your way here?" "No but they should be here soon I hope. 

The three of you talked and waiting for everyone else to come. "Hi guys!" You turn to see xingqiu and Chongyun. They walk over to you. "Ok everyone's here!" Hu Tao said clapping her hands together.

"Phh Xingqiu you look like a girl in that outfit." Bennett said putting a hand over his mouth and trying not to laugh. "I DO NOT FOR THE LAST TIME!" Xingqiu crossed his arms. Everyone bursted out laughing.

You all begin to walk. Soon you stumble upon a regular sized camp. "Let's go!" Bennett says immediately pulling out his weapon. Running he hit one with his charged attack. You quickly pull out your pole arm and ran in, hitting a couple with your normal attacks. So the camp has been cleared out. "Phew that was..." you turn to the rest of your friends, there mouths wide open. "What's wrong with them?" You whisper to Bennett. "I have literally no idea."

You continue walking and you find a smaller camp. You were about to jump in when you felt a hand hold you back. "I'm not gonna let you steal all the fun!" Hu Tao said pulling out her weapon. Fire instantly covered the pole arm. She ran in, hitting all the hilichurls with her fiery weapon. She walked back over to the group. "That was sick!" Bennett said, Hu Tao just gave him a grin.

The next camp you found was similar to the first. Chongyun and Xingqiu took out there weapons "it's our turn now." You were a little surprised when chongyun pulled out a huge sword. They both ran in. Chongyun hit his claymore on the ground making a ring. Soon his weapon was covered in cryo. Xingqiu kept jumping and slashing hiliturls with water, it looked sorta ridiculous.

Finished cleaning up the camp and came back over. Bennett bursted out laughing. "You should see how funny you look when you fight Xingqiu." "Didnt I tell you, TO SHUT THE HELL UP!"

After awhile of walking you found a large hilichurl camp. "Ok here's the plan... and he's already gone." Bennett was already fighting a hiluturl. You noticed one sneaking up behind him. "Behind." You say as you flick two fingers up. An ice spike come out of the ground and strikes the monster. "Thanks y/n!" You just rolled your eyes.

Soon everyone was in on the fight. Soon everything was dead, there was a couple close calls but no one was hurt.

"Look a flower field!" Hu Tao said grabbing your arm. "Hey wait up!" She bent down and grabbed some qingxin. She made them into a crown and put it on your head. Chongyun looked at you, unable to take his eyes of you. You were beautiful. Was it the way the setting sun reflected off you or how your hair gently sways in the breeze. Xingqiu saw him starring. "I'm going to go grab some more flowers" Hu Tao said getting up and walking out of view. Xingqiu motioned to Bennett and they both quietly slipped away behind a bush.

You turned your head and looked at the pink and blue sunset. "Looks at the beautiful- where did everyone go?" You looked around to see Chongyun standing in front of you. He shook his head, snapping himself out of his trance.

You walked towards chongyun. "I'll go look for-" you say as you begin to walk away but something grabs your hand. "Um y/n." You turned and looked into his baby blue eyes. Pink filled both your cheeks. "Yes chongyun." You turn towards him, he still hadn't let go of your hand. "I need to tell you something."

—meanwhile in the bush—

"Move I can't see with you head in the way!" Xingqiu whisper yelled at Bennett. "Fine!" He moves over and so they can both see. "I wonder if he will tell her." "He better it's been long enough!"

Your heart skipped a beat. Your heart felt like it was going to fall out of your chest. "I- uh how do I not make this awkward..." he looked at the ground. He lifted his head up and looked you in the eyes.

"I like you y/n, I just-"

"I like you too Chongyun."

His eyes widened. "Really?" You let out a laugh "yes really!" Your faces started to get closer and soon they were inches apart. You leaned in and kissed him. His eyes widened but slowly closed. He let go of your hand and put his on your cheek. You but your arms around his wait. You slowly backed away, breaking the kiss.

"I love you y/n."

"I love you too."

"So are we like now dating?" He teased you. "I mean if you don't want-" "it's just what I want" you gave him a smile "good."

Bennett put his hands over his eyes but spread his finger apart so he could still see. Xingqiu fell over. "You good bro?" No response. A couple seconds later he sat back up. "I don't think we were supposed to see that." Bennett nodded. "Let's get out of here before we get caught." They sneaked out of the bush. "What the hell your you two doing." They slowly turned there heads. Relieved to see Hu Tao with a hand full of different flowers.

"Umm we did nothing-" Xingqiu smacked Bennett on the back of the head. "Shut it! Your making us look suspicious!" Hu Tao just starred at them. "Yyy/nnn!" I got some more flowers!!" Hu Tao said skipping over to you two.

After a little while everyone decided to head home. Bennett and Xingqiu be suspicious quite the whole time and you and Chongyun smiling at each other. Chongyun ended up walking you home. You walked you to your house. "Thank you for today y/n" he gave you a kiss on the forehead. "See you tomorrow!" He said with a wave as he ran out of view.

You ran into your room and on to your bed. You looked at Chongyuns sweatshirt before grabbing it and putting it on once again
