Eridan's pov-

It's been a month since I got out of the hospital. A month since Sol and I started dating. And a month since Kyler started living with us. Cronus told dad that he adopted some kid he meet at the hospital and he was super cool with it. Which was kinda strange but I didn't say much about it. I didn't think that I needed too.

Sollux texted me earlier this morning, saying he was coming over. I was excited to see him but scared at the same time. Why? Because of Kyler. That brat was always butting into my business. Okay, so it wasn't that bad. I actually liked the idea of having a younger brother. Until he stared acting this way. He was always around me, bugging the hell out of me. He also acted as if he knew everything about my life. Kinda like Rose. It was rather annoying.

"Who is he? Is like your friend or something. A boyfriend perhaps?" Kyler asked from his spot on the couch. I picked up a shoe and tossed it in his general direction. He caught it without flaw. I knew he was going to do that. He had very fast reflexes. He threw it back, aiming for my head, which I effortlessly dodged. "Why does it matter?" I turned to look at him. He shrugged. "It really doesn't, but it would be good to know." I sighed. "Can I keep some of my life private, Ky." He sighed. "I guess so. But it won't be a secret for much longer. Someone will spill." I rolled my eyes and walked back into the kitchen. I was trying to clean up some before Sollux showed up. I knew it wasn't going to go over smoothly. I sucked at cleaning anything and tried to leave it all to Cronus, but he was just as bad as I was, and our home always ended up staying a mess until dad came home or when we had to clean it together. There was a loud banging sound on the front door. That must be Sollux. "I'll get it!" I called, trying to run to the door before Kyler. Sadly, he beat me to the punch. "Hello, Sollux." That kid sounded like a college professor. "Hey kidd-o." Sollux ruffled his hair as he walked past him. I stood in the doorway of the kitchen. I wished Kyler would be like a normal teenager. I wished he hated coming out of his room. But no, he had to be in everyone's business. Living with him was a real drag.

(Sorry for the shortness, but here you are. Please send your feedback and I'll see you in the next update. Bye!)
