TWINS || All Of Us Are Dead

Chapter 1

The twins' parents woke up early to cook breakfast for their children. While they were all eating Kyungho told them that they will be living again later for Seoul.

As they continued eating, the couple finally realized something off about their daughter. "Hyeji, you good there?" Kyungho asked the girl making her snap her head to her father. "You should eat more. You space out a lot when you're hungry." Sooyoung told the girl after seeing her spacing out just seconds ago.

"They both do. They also ramble a lot." Kyungho said with a laugh. The twins can't even try to argue because it was true and they knew it.

"It's nothing...I just have a feeling." Hyeji said making the three look at her weirdly. "What feeling? Do you have a fever?" Sooyoung asked. "No. um, forget it. It's weird." Hyeji shrugged.

After eating, Hyeji hugged everyone tighter than usual. She just felt like doing it...from the feeling. She didn't even want to let go of her parents. 

"Honey, are you okay? Do you want to stay home? We can stay home if you want" Sooyoung asked her daughter as she felt the girl tighten the hug.

"No, just, umm, remember that I love you." Hyeji told them. She was about to walk away but came back for a last hug. "Last one." She whispered before letting go.

"I'm going first. I'm walking with Namra today." She said before walking away. Something really tells her to come back. To just have her parents hold her and her twin. 

They all know that Namra walks early and considering the distance of their house, they just let her go.

"I'll see you soon, appa, eomma. Oppa, I'll see you at school." She said before walking through the door. 

"What's gotten to her?" Kyungho asked, a little confused at how her only daughter acted.

"Maybe she just wants more time with us. Let's let her be for now. We will talk to her the next time we come home." Sooyoung said.

"We'll make it up to both of you." Sooyoung said as she turned to her son, Kyungho adoring how his wife handles their children. 

"You already know how to make it up to both of us." Hyunjin said making Kyungho and Sooyoung nod.

"Movie nights!" The couple answered in chorus. It was their way of bonding with their children, through eating and watching movies.

"Is it just me or did Namra and Hyeji became closer since the last time we were home?" Sooyoung asked Hyunjin after remembering what Hyeji said before leaving.

"You know her eomma. She likes making friends, it just so happens that Hyeji likes her company more than others. They both love listening to music, they love reading, they just have a lot of things in common. And honestly, after what happened a year ago, I'm just very thankful for Namra." Hyunjin answered.

"Omo! Do you think they're dating?" Sooyoung asked, excited. "I always liked that girl." Sooyoung added. 

"Wait, isn't she dating Wujin? I like that boy. They look good together." Kyungho said before turning to his son.

"What?" He asked. "Who is she dating, Namra or Wujin?" Sooyoung asked. "She told me she isn't dating anyone yet. We all know she don't lie so yeah." Hyunjin shrugged, making both parents sigh.

"What about you? Are you dating anyone, son?" Kyungho asked making Hyunjin choke on his water. "I'll take that as my cue to go." Hyunjin said as he hugged his parents before walking out, making the parents laugh.

While walking with linked arms, Namra and Hyeji blasted music through their earphones. They didn't care about anything else. What matters is that they are with each other. They didn't even hear Nayeon call them.

After not being able to get her friend's attention, Nayeon cursed under her breath. "Namra, that bitch is stealing Hyeji from me." She mumbled to herself before she continued walking.

When they reached the classroom, Namra and Hyeji talked for a moment before starting to read. Because of her earphones, Hyeji wasn't able to hear to commotion that happened because of Nayeon. Some people wished that she was able to hear or see that, but she wasn't so they just sighed in defeat.

They didn't even hear Ms. Park enter. Namra noticed the teacher first so she tapped the other girl's shoulder and pointed at the teacher.

The teacher asked the students to hand their phones in. Daesu was caught, making him and Isak surrender their phones. Onjo's old phone was also returned. After that, Ms. Park went to the science lab to talk to Mr. Lee.

"Anyone want to interpret this?" The teacher asked but almost every student was avoiding her gaze. Suddenly, Heesu stood up.

"Okay. Heesu." The teacher called the student with a smile. Thinking that the student wants to answer. "I need to use the bathroom." Heesu said. 

"Okay, go." The teacher replied and looked at the other students who became busy murmuring, looking for a volunteer.

After seeing that there is likely to be no one to volunteer, she called for the class president. "Okay then. Anyone wanna have a crack at it, huh? Class president?" The teacher called.

Hyeji looked at her seatmate who answered effortlessly. "The truth is, all of us have some sort of prejudice. We all have preconceptions about other people."

The teacher nodded. Namra turned to Hyeji who is already looking at her. Hyeji gave Namra a smile accompanied by a thumbs up.

"Okay, nice. Next, Bare-su. Stand up." The teacher called causing the students to laugh. "Stand up...What's with Bare-su?"

"It's short for Barefoot Suhyeok. Bare-su." Joonyoung answered. "He hates wearing socks. He's so weird about it...I can smell a mile away." Daesu added.

"Okay, Bare-Su. What did Namra say a minute ago?" The teacher asked. "Ah..." The students copied him, some are laughing, including his friends.

"She was absolutely correct. A hundred percent." SuHyeok said. "What was her absolutely correct answer then?" The teacher asked again. 

"Alright..." Before she got the chance to continue, Hyeonju appeared by the door before stumbling down. Gathering everyone's attention.

"He grabbed me...The science teacher grabbed me and locked me up." With this, the students started murmuring again. "He locked you up? The science teacher? Mr. Lee Byeongchan, huh?" The teacher wanted to make sure.

"He tied me up..." Hyeonju answered. "I told you, didn't I?" Nayeon whispered to Hyoryeong and Jimin. "Just shut up, okay?" Hyoryeong whispered back.

"Let's go to the infirmary, okay?" The teacher told the student. "Namra. Make sure they study on their own. And please don't say anything to anyone until I come back and confirm the facts." The teacher told the president and the class.

After Hyunjin carried Hyeonju. Isak and Onjo helped him. "Go back to your seats! Now!" The teacher said. They sent Hyeonju to the infirmary. 

Heesu was there but decided to leave when she saw what happened with Hyeonju. She was having a hard time walking but did her best.
