'Take care of On-jo for me.'

Hyun-jin's voice kept repeating itself on Hye-ji's mind. Waking her up from whatever state she was in. Realizing what she was doing. She separated herself from On-jo, screaming and crying.

"I'm sorry On-jo." She said, letting go of On-jo's arms and putting a hand on On-jo's face, softly caressing it. "It's okay. You can bite me. I'm okay." On-jo told her. "No. I'm sorry." Hye-ji said, still crying. "I'm okay, Hye-ji-ah." On-jo said.

"Fuck." Hye-ji said before standing up. "Nam-ra. Keep your promise. And my favor to you, Su-hyeok. I'm sorry." She said before walking away. Su-hyeok didn't know what Hye-ji was talking about so he helped On-jo up, thinking that Nam-ra will never let Hye-ji go.

Nam-ra just watched Hye-ji walk away, crying as she did so. "I promised. I promised that I'll let you go if you turn. Promised to never run after you if you turn. And I promised to never forget you. And I'm not one to break promises, so please...don't break yours." She mumbled, knowing well that Hye-ji can hear her.

And Hye-ji did. She heard it clearly. But she doesn't know if her promise will ever be fulfilled. To be honest, right now, even she is scared of herself.

After asking On-jo if she was alright, Su-hyeok looked up, only to see a crying Nam-ra and there are no signs of Hye-ji.

"Where is she Nam-ra? Where did she go. Why did you let her go?!" Su-hyeok asked, unable to control himself and raised his voice at Nam-ra.

"I promised to let her go if she turns, she made me promise!" Nam-ra answered. "You think I wanted her to go? You think I wanted her to leave?" She added, for the first time in forever in a raised voice.

Su-hyeok then started walking away, slowly gaining pace to run. "Where are you going Su-hyeok?" On-jo asked. "Nam-ra might've promised her, but I never did." He said, not turning back. On-jo looked at Nam-ra.

"I didn't promise her anything too." She said before running after Su-hyeok. But it was too late. They lost Hye-ji already.

'If in case something happens. Please take care of Nam-ra.' Hye-ji's voice repeated in Su-hyeok's mind. Reminding him of what favor Hye-ji was talking about earlier.

With a heavy heart, Su-hyeok turned to On-jo. "Let's go back to Nam-ra and the others." He said, walking towards where they left Nam-ra. They found her there, still crying. When Nam-ra heard their footsteps and saw that they came back without Hye-ji, it was like she was stabbed in the heart. '

'She's gone.' Was the only thing Nam-ra could think of at the moment.

-------

When they reached the others, Ha-ri took notice of of the three's appearance, they all looked, broken. Which is understandable for they had lost a lot of people because of this situation they are in right now.

But it was Nam-ra's appearance that made her tears fall. She had never seen the class president cry. And to see the swollen eyes of Nam-ra which was obviously from crying, she wanted to cry too.

But as the oldest in the group, she needs to be strong right now. "Le-t's go." She said with a broken voice. It was obvious that she was gulping down the sob that desperately wants to come out.

-------

They finally reached the camp, where soldiers are waiting. When they saw the guns pointed at them, they had let go of their weapons, raising their arms up as they walked forward.
