Chapter 2

Heesu came back after the commotion with Hyeonju. "Hey, are you alright? You look pale. Do you want some water?" Hyeji asked her. She shook her no. "I'm going home. I'll see you tomorrow." Heesu tried her best to smile. She thinks that finally, tomorrow, maybe she can be friends with Hyeji.

Hyeji hesitantly nodded. Watching Heesu walk away. Her attention was then averted when she heard all the different gossips of her classmates making her shake her head and just wear her earbuds. She then laid her head to Namra's shoulder who smiled at the girl but quickly masked it.

Hyeji looked up when she felt Namra move. She then saw that Isak came back. She was telling the class how Hyeonju was trashing around and trying to bite people. "Where is Hyunjin?" Hyeji asked, panicking a little. They all knew how close the twin was.

"He's alright but Onjo got hurt." Isak said which didn't help in calming Hyeji down since Onjo is also close to her. Hyeji was an over thinker. She spaced out thinking of all the possibilities that may have happened.

Hyeji stood up and went out to look for her twin and her friend. After leaving, Isak saw Namra studying. "Look...She's just been sitting there studying." Isak said.

Hyeji saw Hyunjin and Onjo by the stairs. "Hyunjin! Onjo!" Hyeji called. She immediately hugged her twin and then Onjo. "Onjo, I heard you got hurt. How bad is it?" She asked worriedly looking at her friend's wrist.

Both Hyunjin and Onjo silently thanked the gods for bringing Hyeji. It was so awkward. Hyunjin didn't know how to answer. Sure, he likes the girl, but the girl she likes asked her first! He wanted to be the one to ask her out.

Meanwhile Onjo thought that Hyunjin is going to reject her because of the lack of response and silently thanked Hyeji for saving her from rejection. "I'm okay. Come on." Onjo said and held her hand to walk with her.

It is now lunch time. Hyeji always made sure to eat with Namra and Hyunjin was always with the boys.

"I told Hyunjin I like him." Onjo said. Shocking Isak. "What? I thought you and Cheongsan are dating?" Isak asked. "What? No! We lived next door since we were kids. I like Hyunjin." Onjo defended.

"How did you do it? What did you say? Did you ask him on a date or what?" Isak questioned. "My name tag." Onjo answered making Isak laugh. "So you threw yourself at him." Isak concluded and continued to interrogate her friend while eating. No intention of stopping unless she knew everything about it

The twins love to spend their time together. Which is why they made sure that after they eat lunch, they would always walk together.

Hyeji was trying to solve a 3x3 gear cube while talking to her twin. "Onjo asked me out." Hyunjin blurted making the girl look at her, her small eyes getting big.

"So? What did you say?" She asked excitedly. Hyunjin was happy with the reaction. He was scared of what Hyeji will think once she knew that he likes Onjo. Seeing her reaction to this revelation just erased all his worry.

"I didn't answer, I freaked out. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to be the one to ask her out. And I wanted to know if you'll approve of it. Plus, you got there before I can say anything. So thank you. I might have said something I don't mean if you didn't show up on time." Hyunjin rambled.

"Hey, oppa. Listen to me, I'm happy when you're happy so, I say go for it. Onjo is one of the best girls here at Hyosan High. Just don't hurt each other, huh?" Hyeji said with a smile.

"Thank you. Have I told you that I love you?" Hyunjin said while wrapping his arms at Hyeji's shoulder. Hyeji just nodded with a big smile. "How about you, anyone you li-"

Hyunjin was cut off when he saw a student bite another student in the neck. "What the hell?" He mumbled. The twins looked around and saw other students trying to bite each other. The only other way was to go inside the building.

After what seemed like running for a whole hour, Hyunjin pulled Hyeji inside the broadcasting room. Both twins are out of breath. Hyunjin immediately got an umbrella to lock the door.

"Are those...zombies?" Hyeji asked her twin. Hyunjin can sense fear laced on her voice so he hugged her twin. "Everything will be all right. Don't worry. Help is coming." He whispered, trying to soothe the girl. But they both know that Hyunjin didn't know that.

"Do you want to go visit Hyeonju later?" Suhyeok asked Namra. "Why?" Namra asked. "You're our class president." Suhyeok answered back.

"You know my mom made me class president by donating a bunch of money to the school. That's why no one else thinks of me as a real class president, everyone, except Hyeji and Hyunjin. So why the hell should I act like it?" Namra said making Suhyeok chuckle.

"What?" She asked. "I'm surprised. I've actually never heard you talk that much before. I thought you never said more than five words at a time." Suhyeok said.

"Cheongsan and I will also ask Hyeji and Hyunjin to come. You should come with us." Suhyeok added when Namra didn't answer. "If Hyeji comes, I will too." She said before leaving.

After seeing a student biting another one in front of Namra, Suhyeok grabbed her hand and ran.

"Then what's going on, did he say that he likes you?" Cheongsan asked. "Did he say that?" Onjo said, shocked. "What?" Cheongsan asked. "That he likes me?"

C: Who? Hyunjin?
O: No? He didn't say anything?
C: Hmm, what are you talking about?
O: Earlier... You can't tell anyone, okay?
C: About what?
O: You really can't tell anyone.
C: About what, Onjo?
O: I asked him out earlier, but I don't know. He hasn't said anything.

O: Hey.
C: Yeah, what?
O: Any chance you could ask him what he thinks about me?
C: Sure, I'll try when I see him. You should also ask Hyeji she knows Hyunjin better than all of us combined.
O: I will. Thank you!

Just as Onjo was about to walk away, students came running through the cafeteria. She didn't know what to do. Nothing has registered in her. One moment she was thinking about Hyunjin and now there is someone right in front of her that wants to bite her.

Cheongsan quickly pulled the zombie away from his friend. Just as the sprinklers were activated, the student hiding with them under the table became a zombie as well.

The two went to the window to get out. They managed to get inside the building.

When Hyeji calmed down a little, she looked by the window. Seeing students and zombies running around. "Thank God I wore my pants after eating my lunch." She mumbled knowing that the next few days will be filled by running.
