Dear Mummy,
I got some great news today! A lady doctor came to see me with granny and she told me I was going to get the operation! I'm not nearly as scared anymore because I know this means I will stop vomiting and being curled up in pain as often as I've been.
The lady doctor was very nice to me and she didn't bring up anything about me faking being sick.
Granny is over the moon.
If you are free this Thursday (that's when I'm getting operated) could you keep granny company? I told her I was asking you and she said you wouldn't miss it for the world, but I just wanted to be sure.
