Sofia drove her car to the shipping company, then rode in Brad's car back to the airport.

Soon they landed back in Colorado. Sofia headed to the town inn, where she would be staying until she found an apartment.

"You don't have to stay at this place." Brad said with a hint of disgust in his voice. "You could come stay with me."

Sofia laughed. "I like it here, the owners are nice and the inn is in like the perfect location."

Brad gave an uncertain smile. "If you say so. Come on you two let's get you home, it's late." He walked back to his car trailed by the twins.

Sofia watched them drive off then she entered the inn.

"My god!" Mrs. Sala exclaimed. "Sweetheart look who's back in town!" She shouted into the back.

Mr. Sala came out. "Who?" He came up to Sofia and looked at her close. "Sofia!"

Sofia smiled. "It's good to see you two again." Although she had only spent a short time with the older couple last time she'd been in town, she had grown very fond of them. And they seemed to like her well enough. They showed her to the room she had occupied last time and she smiled at them. "I won't take up space too long, just till I find an apartment."

Mrs. Sala frowned. "Stay as long as you want. I'd like the company anyway."

Sofia smiled. "I'd be happy to stay, but I'd like to have my own space. I wouldn't want to be a burden."

The woman laughed. "You're no burden. My husband and I both enjoy your company. You stay as long as you want dear."

Sofia smiled. "Okay, I'll stay for awhile, but a month at the most, otherwise I feel I'm taking advantage."

The woman smiled. "Okay dear, goodnight."

"Goodnight." Sofia smiled.

The next morning she awoke early and full of energy. She walked downstairs and found Mr. Sala napping behind the desk. She smiled and walked outside. She found Mrs. Sala kneeled down in a small vegetable garden. "Hi." She said.

The old woman looked up. "Hello, dear."

"Can I help you?" Sofia asked taking careful steps in the garden.

Mrs. Sala smiled. "Yes dear."

Sofia kneeled down and helped the woman tend the garden, she pulled weeds, watered, and at one point talked to the plants.

Afterwards she ventured inside through a backdoor she had never seen before. She followed Mrs. Sala into the kitchen and helped her with breakfast. She sat and ate with the older couple. They continually talked of their son. Sofia smiled. "He sounds great, I hope to meet him soon."

The older couple laughed. "My dear you already know him."

Sofia looked taken aback. "I do?"

"Of course. Well my dear if you'll excuse us." The old woman led her husband away leaving Sofia alone to enjoy the rest of her breakfast.

After she finished, she took her dishes to the sink. She saw it full and cleaned them all. After that she sat out to start her search for her apartment.

The next weeks were the same as that first day, always enjoyable. However, about a month after she arrived she finally found an apartment. She told Mr. and Mrs. Sala at dinner that night.

"It's perfect! One bed, one bath practically across the street from the university and near all of my favorite places in the town!"

Mrs. Sala smiled. "Well I guess it was bound to happen eventually. When will you be moving out?"
