I feel like a broken record lol but sorry I haven't been updating. I just started at a new school last week, and I have another play coming up soon. This is going to be semi-short because I still have homework and a piano lesson, but hope you guys enjoy. Requests still open and let me know if you like the modern AU idea!

This is what you're wearing (if you don't like it, that's fine but I was thinking that Y/n is really artsy) I found it on pinterest (where I find most of my pics lol) so credit to whoever photoshopped it:

Y/N Pov

I stood by my locker with my best friend Anne. She and I both knew that we wouldn't be getting anything for Valentine's Day, so we decided to get each other something small. I baked her some cookies and got us (another) matching friendship bracelets. She sprinted down the hallway, pushing passed the sea of students.

"So, how is my best friend doing? I know that we couldn't hang out this weekend, but we can still do a movie night next week. Or, you could just come to the party with me tonight." she said, embracing me.
"Yeah, that's a no for me." It was Billy Andrews' party and there was no way that I was going to hang out with any of his crew. Plus, it's not like I had anything to wear.
"What if I promise to go anywhere with you next weekend. Even if you want to go dig through a dumpster." I chuckled at her antics. It would be nice to go see the new thriller movie that just came out. Anne typically wouldn't want to go, but I guess I could endure one party.
"I will go, if and only if you promise to pay for the snacks at the movies." She nodded rapidly and raced to class. I smiled, walking in my direction.

Time Skip to after school

Anne and I sat in my room trying to find something to wear tonight.

"What about green? It brings out your eyes." I knew that she only suggested it because green was one of the only colors in my closet. "Do you still have that dress with the sheer sleeves?" I nodded and pulled it out of my closet.
"Don't you think it's too dressy?"
"No such thing!" she quickly found a pair of shoes to match. We got ready and left for the Andrews' home.

Option for the dress. I thought it was pretty and I found it on pinterest:

Their house was huge. There is no other way to describe it. They were stupid rich, and you could tell. Anne quickly left my side to find Diana, so I quickly found a spot in the corner where I wouldn't be bothered. Charlie Slone walked up to me and began flirting. I tried to dismiss him as best I could, but he just couldn't take a hint. I felt someone staring at me, so I look for who it was. I quickly spotted Gilbert Blythe looking right at me. I checked to make sure there was no one else there, but it was just him. He smiled and I smiled back. Unluckily for me, though, Josie came and blocked my vision.

"Would you excuse us, Charlie?" she said. I think that he was too frightend to say no and dashed away.
"What do you want, Josie?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
"This is a Valentine's Day party. You need someone to make out with." My eyes went wide and I stepped back, shaking my head no, and I saw Gilbert begin walking towards us.
"I didn't know that. I don't really want to kiss anybody."
"Well then, maybe you should leave." she replied, venom lacing her words.
"I'll be glad to join you." Gilbert said from behind her. She scoffed and walked away, probably to gossip with some of her friends.
"Just let me tell Anne first." I looked around for her and found her making out with Charlie. I figured she was busy and that I would shoot her a text when I got home.I walked back over to the front door where Gilbert was waiting.
"You look good tonight, by the way." I smiled at the ground and we began walking back to my place.

"Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend right now?" I inquired, seeing if I even had a chance with him.
"I don't have one. What about you? Your boyfriend might be jealous of some one else walking you home."
"I've never had a boyfriend, or a girlfriend for that matter. In fact, I've never been kissed." He chuckled as we reached my doorstep.
"I could change that, you know." I look up at him wide eyed.
"Ok." I said. He had a puzzled look on his face, so I reached my hands up to his face pulling him close. I let him close the gap between us, and he kissed my lips. He tasted like strawberry chapstick and fruit punch. After a moment, I pulled away.

"So, are we dating now, or is this like a one time thing?"
"Definitely not a one time thing," he chuckled, kissing me again.

I hope you guys like this!
