Illumi's relationship w his kids hcs

He's...reserved to say the least, not really trying to have a 'fatherly' relationship with his kids
Illumi doesn't view kids as something he should nurture, care for, and be gentle with. He views them as machines, in a sense, the same way he and all his siblings are viewed.

There is no doubt they will be trained to be assassins, why else would he have kids? 

Illumi will not form any sort of attachment- hell, he hates the attachment he has formed with you. It's weak to love your kids, it's weak to love in general. Illumi has one too many weaknesses already, he doesn't need 3 more.

Speaking of 3, you will have 3 kids. Usually, there is a 'faulty' kid, the one that fucks everything up and gets themselves killed. Illumi needs there to be backups, as it's impossible for all 3 to be screw ups. 

He will be a tad gentler, though. Allowing you to bond however you wish with the kids, as he does say, "It's your choice to get attached, just don't come crying when they drop like flies."

Firm believer that love creates weakness, as I said earlier, therefore even the act of giving love, as a mother would, is building weakness. 

"I want one kid put aside from the rest. I will raise him how I was raised," Illumi demands, allowing no room for argument. "You can love and do whatever your heart desires with the other two, but I can't risk them all failing." 

Overall, Illumi is not as bad as his parents, but he's definitely not what one would consider a good father.
