He doesn't see the point in valentine's day. Why is there a specific day to show love to your partner and spoil them? Isn't that something you should do every day?

Whatever, he doesn't like it. But if celebrating it will make you happy then he could do it.

"Is valentine's day something you'd like to celebrate, darling?" Illumi asked, watching as you scrolled through the couple's post and their plans for valentine's day.

You knew Illumi's views on such holidays. He saw them as useless. But you still wouldn't mind spending the day with him and celebrating it.

"Only if you want to, I'll be okay either way," you replied, hoping he'd magically catch your hint that yeah, you'd like to celebrate it with him.

Illumi hummed, "Alright, I'll make sure my schedule is cleared for tomorrow.

"The next day, that man spoiled you more than usual.

He ordered the chefs to make your favorite foods, along with your favorite candies/desserts.

Illumi also gave you gifts upon gifts. Where he got all these things without you noticing? Who knows. All you know is it was a lot compared to the few things you gave him.

"I'm sorry it isn't much, Illumi," you said, handing him your three presents.

The first one was a new set of pins, the second one being a case for them to go in, and the 3rd a homemade craft you made.

"Darling, this is more than enough. I appreciate the gifts, and I hope you like yours as well," he says, setting them down. "Now let's eat."
