Illumi with a compassionate s/o

Your personalities clash terribly, so why did Illumi pick you to be his future wife? Because you managed to wiggle your way into the walls he built so high.

Though he won't admit it, you're a breath of fresh air to have around. It's nice to have someone that cares about your well-being instead of money and power.

Now, Illumi is not the touchiest. It's just not how he was raised. But, he's made a few exceptions for you.

When you two are walking together, he keeps a hand on the small of your back. It's his way of showing others in public that you're his, and it's his version of PDA.

When he kisses you, it's usually on the lips. When you kiss him, it's anywhere you can reach from your current spot. So kisses on his jaw are common, and Illumi loves them.

He appreciates that you don't push him to tell you things and that you give him space when needed, which is often.

"You're literally so attractive, it's not fair," Is what you told him one day.

"Thank you, Doll," Was his response. Not going to lie, you love the nickname, 'Doll' quite a bit.

After being with him so long, you learned the little things about him. Like how any time he is angry, his grip tightens the slightest bit. Or how you can tell he is nervous by the way his eyes scan a room.

He was shocked the first time you sat your hand on his thigh in an attempt to calm him. The silent, "Don't be so nervous," enough for him to know you noticed.

Wouldn't say anything about it but would be impressed you could read him like that. And it gave him a confidence boost because wow, you pay that much attention to him?

Was happy when you asked him to show you how his needles work and what he can do with them. Illumi enjoys spending time with you and teaching you about things he enjoys.

Illumi will always inform you where he is heading if he can't take you with him. He expects the same from you. (Like he'd let you go anywhere without him anyway).Not used to being taken care of the way you take care of him. You always make sure he eats and drinks something. It's like you have a 6th sense for it.

One time, Illumi tried lying to you and saying yes because he was too busy to make anything, but you knew he was lying so you made him a sandwich and scolded him while he ate it.

You couldn't care less if he listened to your scolding or not.
