After scanning the book for hours,
Deigh decided to go out and contact the butler.

She found Yera gossiping with Silla, another maid, on the hallway when she went out.

Yera who was still upset with her lady ignored her when she asked her to fetch Hans that is why she talked to Silla, but was stopped by the former.

"I'll go get Sir Hans myself, my lady." Yera told her before dashing to wherever the butler might be.

She went back to the library.

'Now, how can I make him agree with my proposal?'

She snapped out of her thoughts when the door opened signaling the entrance of the person she was expecting to come.

Yera along with the butler entered.

"For what reason have you summoned me, my lady?"

The butler who was of old age is looking at her like a hawk preparing to murder his prey. Deigh couldn't help but swallow her saliva.

'He's tough.' she declared.

She coughed and look at the butler with the book in her hand.

The butler caught sight of the book in her hands.

'Laws and Regulations in Business' is what it says.

"Surely you didn't summon me here on a whimsical idea, my lady..." he pursued on with his tone.

Yera stiffened at the statement of the butler.

While Deigh on the other hand, didn't liked his attitude but decided to ignore it.

She stared at Sir Hans too with equal intensity.

"Of course not, Sir Hans. I summoned you here to propose a plan on the transaction of the mine."

The butler then groaned. It meant he's not here to play with her which put a line on Deigh's forehead, she's annoyed but he closed her eyes and let out a breathe.

" I might be a child in your eyes, Sir Hans, but I'm not as naive as you thought I am. Surely, you can lend an ear to my proposal. Just give me five minutes to discussed it, I won't make you regret it. " she stated with profound confidence.

Yera on the background stiffled a laugh, not wanting the butler to notice it but trembled when Sir Hans glared at her way.

The butler who was clearly looking down on her capabilities previously, felt annoyed as if she had strike a nerve.

Who wouldn't be when she reminded him of his age and even challenge his experience.

She can't help but laugh in her mind.

The butler who had let go of his thoughts sighed.

"Alright, let's hear what my lady would say."

His bowing down brought a smile on the lady's face.

"Let's take a seat first. Yera please bring some refreshment."

The agreement went on for minutes until the butler finally agreed.

"Thanks for listening. I told Sir Hans it's not a childish move but rather a good proposal. Didn't I proved it? I did good, right? " She asked the butler which didn't even flinch on her boasting.

"Yes, yes. Now, can I take my leave?"

"Yes Sir. You can go."

Deigh who was smiling so much when she noticed how the butler didn't run his mouth as much as he did at the start happily let him go.

Sir Hans on the other hand, let out a satisfied look when she went out of the library.

'Did the Duke see it that's why he insisted on giving the mine to his daughter? The young lady indeed has a talent on this field.'

He thought.

'She still has a lot to learn though.'

He went on his way laughing on his own that the servants were troubled to witness how the strict butler of theirs was laughing like an idiot.
