"H...ey, stop it" with her droopy eyes, she said, but the person swatting in front of her smiled and continued pestering her.

"You should try stopping me yourself, after all you're strong right?" He joked.

She doesn't know who this man is, but thanks to him she would not be on the newspaper in the morning with the entry 'Enjoying Dreamland in the Balcony' as the headline.

Apparently, the man saw her even before she fell asleep, and was resting at the branch of a tall tree near the balcony ditching the gathering.

He stated that he was not planning to but he woke her up thinking that she might have a company looking for her.

When he saw that she still wouldn't budge after being patted on the shoulder, he decided to pinch her nose to which she responded by swatting his hands.

She didn't know but she felt comfortable with the person so she just let him be.

Maybe it's because he seems like a good person or is it because of the gratitude she felt for him saving her from embarrassment.

She doesn't really know.

Deigh opened her eyes but closed them instantly for several times that's why he continues to pester her by touching her nose. Then after that he switches to reminding her of her then actions to which he'd been laughing about all this time.

The muscle thingy.

She couldn't really talk back because she's still sleepy. She was only asleep for a moment but it is a fact that when she finally sleeps she won't wake up unless someone wakes her up.

She wouldn't want that.

She sighed, swatted the hands of the stranger, and slowly stood up and so is the other person. The unknown person stepped back until his back leaned on the balustrade.

As she slowly regain her consciousness she became aware of the person in front of her.

What first caught her attention were the red jewel-like eyes that shine similarly to precious rubies in the night. They were really beautiful that she have to blink her eyes just to get away from them.

Then a face that can make any guy cry in envy, along with a tall stature and broad body entered her vision.

Clothes that were of high quality fabric.

'He must be a noble.'

'Wait... a male lead?' A sudden thought barged in her mind, disrupting her composure. Her eyes trembled due to the idea, but she managed to calm down when she remembered that none of the male leads have eyes as red as rubies.

She can't be mistaken.

She racked her brain trying to find answers when the person raised a question.

"It's cold. Shouldn't you go inside now?"

She snapped out of her train of thoughts when she heard a voice colder than the night reminding her of her father, she blinked her eyes.

"Ah yes, my father might be looking for me. Then, I shall take my leave." She sprang from her feet and went to open the door when she remembered something, she had left the sandals that she had taken off.

Emabarassed, she returned to get her sandals to which the guy stiffled a laugh.

"You should have left it Cinderella, oh how you've wasted your shot." He smiled.

'He is so happy... Maybe I should have been a comedian...' She pondered.

After wearing her sandals she turned towards the man. "By the way, thank you for waking me up. I avoided being on the news because of you." And with that she left the place as fast as a racing horse.

At the unexpected speed of the lady, Aiden chuckled.

'She indeed changed.' He thought as he jumped from the balcony to the ground.

"Now, should I go crush the party? Nah such a waste of time." He stated as he covered his mouth as he yawned, feeling sleepy just by thinking of it.

'Let's just travel north first.' He thought as he disappeared at the snap of his fingers.

Deigh on the other hand went back to her seat and noticed her father, coming to her place.

"Let's go." He uttered. Deigh who was ready to go home stood up.

They went to the royals to bid farewell, then as they ride the carriage leaving the palace, Deigh suddenly remembers the resemblance of the Emperor to the man she met in the balcony.

She was occupied of the thought that when they arrived home it didn't left her mind.

In the end, she brushed it off as an illusion of hers as she drifted into wonderland.

The Crown Prince Alistair on the other hand was so mad not being able to talk to Luxiana during the entire time, as he was the one who escorted the delegates and kept them occupied at the party.
