Deigh stood there for a while.

'The Duke... is sorry?'

She blinked unable to grasp the sudden information.

The servants who comprehend what might take place bowed their head and went out.

The words she doesn't expect to hear slowly sinked into her.

Duke Regal finally look at her but this time she averted her gaze.

Silence filled the place.

She heard the Duke sigh.

"I know... that I have no right to ask for forgiveness but... I just want you to hear it. I didn't even know anything about you yet I jumped into conclusions, closing my mind and not hearing your side of the story... What a useless Father I am."

Deigh didn't know that Duke Regal has it in him to apologize and to admit that he is a useless father.

When she recall the story, she is not naive on how the Father and Daughter does not communicate well, Luxiana was always a docile child and does not speak up for herself but because of the issues she was involved in her father misunderstood her. While her Father on the other side, neglects her, and does not talk to her unless it was an important matter or if she was to be scolded again.

Even during childhood, she doesn't remember her Father attending to her. She was always surrounded by maids.

But Deigh didn't empathize to her because of that because she herself experienced it too. It's just that, she doesn't think that Luxiana deserved that kind of death and that too she doesn't want to die early again.

"It's fine... I just exploded that's it. There is no need for you to apologize Father."

Duke Regal know what she meant, that she doesn't expect anything from him anymore.

He sighed and massage his forehead.

He knows it was his fault but he's just hoping that his daughter will learn to forgive him as time passes by but with her words it felt like a declaration that there is no way she will accept him.

"But I have a one small request..."

The Duke who was feeling down immediately look at her seeking for another chance.

"What is it?"

"Can you consider my monthly allowance? I would like it if you could increase it thrice... Father."

Deigh who was so embarassed of her own request played with her hands and had an embarassed smile plastered on her face.

The Duke who was not expecting it had his mouth open.

Of course it was not a problem for him because he had a lot of money and properties but it was just so unexpected coming from his daughter.

'Did the butler limit Luxiana' s allowance???'

He close his mouth immediately and was about to agree when Deigh started speaking again.

"Also... Can I build my own glass dome?"

' For what purpose? You want to spend time making a garden... because I grounded you. ' the Duke thought about it.

"By the way, I'll lift your punishment. You're no longer grounded."

"No, it's fine Father, let it stay that way."
