Hi y'all, Hermitage here! Here to offer a bit of insight into this work of fiction. Below you will find some information regarding some of the choices made in this story but it is not necessary to know. I will be offering translations and more details at the end of each chapter and if you have any suggestions feel free to call me out in the comments!

Lore Guide:

Mumbo is familiar to Grian, they knew each other beforehand and were close friends, however, the closeness from Grian to Mumbo in this fic (at least in the beginning) comes from that sense of safety and literal warmth (the void is cold)

SMPs

Grian is a Watcher, this is due to his events in the Evolution SMP, to keep things simple the 3rd life and Last Life do not exist but we will be utilizing some of the lore offered (as mentioned before)

Language and Ages

Players outside of hardcore mode are essentially immortal so despite the fact, time passes the same the dates for events will have been significantly longer, so instead of Grian being gone for a year while on EVO, it could have been like 50 (it wasn't but that's not the point)...this is not going to be significant in their ages as it will not be mentioned, it is purely for explanatory purposes

Joe and X know Galactic, however, they do not speak it, they know it in writing alone.

Watchers 

In regards to Grians reaction with the moon in this story, I am pulling from the Last Life InTheLittleWoods Watcher lore of the moon being a physical symbol of the Watchers Gaze.

This story is done in a 3rd person perspective, however in its narrator feel it will tend to gravitate mostly around Grian, although this does not mean it is around him completely
