It almost felt like we were famous. Walking through the hallways was something I've never experienced before- people staring at me.

Well, they were staring at the fact that Sunwoo's arm was around my shoulder but still.

"I didn't think people would be this surprised." I comment as Sunwoo and I sit down in the classroom.

"Me neither." He says, and Chanhee walks over to join us.

"I'm not," Chanhee says. "Firstly, Sunwoo has never really had a proper girlfriend despite getting so many confessions. Also no offense Daeun, but not many people know who you are."

"Wow thanks." I flick his forehead.

"Nah, they're just jealous," Sunwoo pats the top of my head.

The bell rings and Chanhee races off to his classroom since he's late.

"Alright, silence." The teacher shushes everyone. "I'll be passing back your math test. I expected more from some of you,"

Everyone waits in silence as they look at their test scores, some grinning and some on the brink of tears.

91, not bad. I flip my paper over.

"Shit," Sunwoo shows me his 78%. "My parents are gonna murder me"

"It's okay, you'll do better next time," I tell him. "Did you 'study'?"

"Hm," Sunwoo doesn't answer and flips his test over.

On the way to lunch, it's impossible not to feel the stares of Sunwoo's many fans. Multiple girls look me up and down on our way down the hall and Sunwoo squeezes my hand.

The lunch line extends all the way into the hall so we have to wait by these people making it even worse.

"Does Sunwoo seem different or is it just me?" I turn my head in the direction of a couple boys a few spots behind us in line.

"Yeah he does," his friend responds.

I glance up at Sunwoo who's on his phone and he just rolls his eyes.

"Actually he did really bad on his test today, I saw his score over his shoulder." one of them says.

"What?? Really? He's never gotten lower than a 92%. Maybe it's because of his new girlfriend. She's nothing but a distraction."

Now he's mad. Sunwoo releases my hand and marches back to the people gossiping. He shoves the boy against a locker, the loud thud silencing everyone in the hallway.

"What the hell did you just say??" He pins the boy against the locker.

"Sunwoo stop!" I try to wiggle my way through the tightly knit crowd watching the fight.

"You heard me right. Why does everyone think so highly of you?? You're not first in our class anymore. You don't help the school out nearly as much as Jacob- you're just a load of shit," The boy tries to shove back but Sunwoo is stronger than he looks.

"Dumbass. Not about me. What did you say about my girlfriend??" Sunwoo stares daggers into his eyes.

I finally make it into the opening and reach for Sunwoo, but the boy's friend shoves me away.

I'm trying to help your goddamned friend you fcking idiot! I think, as I fall to the floor.

Sunwoo immediately turns around, dropping the boy and rushing over to me.

"Are you okay??" He asks, and turns to face the second boy who pushed me.

"No, Sunwoo let's just go." I grasp his arm. "Please." I add when he doesn't budge.

"Fine," He helps me stand up and we shove past the crowd of filming students.

We ditch the lunch line and head straight out to the courtyard where our friends agreed to eat lunch.

He doesn't say a word while we walk down the pathway. He walks fast, as if he's storming to get somewhere.

"Can you slow down?" I ask, trying to keep up with him. But he doesn't even look back. "Sunwoo! I said stop." I grab his arm and he finally turns around, his face written with anger.

"Why the hell are you so upset??" I ask.

"Because! I'm your boyfriend and they're talking shit about you!" Sunwoo says.

"Okay, but they were talking more shit about you than me." I point out.

"Whatever," Sunwoo says.

"I've heard worse, I promise," I slip my hand into Sunwoo's. "It's not a big deal."

"If you say so," Sunwoo sighs and we continue walking.

We find our friends sitting in the shade of a tree sharing a loaf of bread.

"What took you two so long?" Chanhee asks.

"Ugh nothing. I don't wanna talk about it," Sunwoo sits leaning against the tree and pats his lap.

I lay my head on him and we observe the courtyard and our friends talking.

"I'm sorry," Sunwoo says quietly to me while the others continue chatting. "I wasn't mad at you. I was just frustrated in general. But I shouldn't have talked to you like that."

"It's okay," I tell him. "I'm sorry too."

"Pfft for what?" Sunwoo asks.

"..." I rack my brain wondering why I apologized too.

"Idiot, you have nothing to apologize for." Sunwoo shakes his head.

"Hmm true," I sit up and he leans forward to kiss my forehead.

"Ugh I forgot we have to witness couple stuff," Chanhee rolls his eyes.

"You're just jealous." Sunwoo says.

"I am not." Chanhee turns away from him.

"Aren't you worried?" I ask "that people are finding out about your 'true' self?"

"Nah." Sunwoo responds. "I have everything I need."
