As if the man could read minds he stared right into my soul with his brown eyes.

'Wait he said 'I can read you...' Shit, he CAN read my thoughts!' I internally screamed as I started to panic. I immediately started to clear my head of anything family related and put my focus on the conversation once more hoping that he didn't catch on to anything.

"Look, you can arrest us, even kill us, but if we're telling the truth, you probably get a pay cut - or worse. You take us to the Kahn, I'll tell him you two took us down. Maybe get you a bonus. You can't lose." The one that looked like a monk said as he got closer to Erron

"What say you" He continued and looked straight at me. I didn't answer instead looked at Erron that looked like he was considering the offer and eventually he caved in.

"Fine, follow me"

With that Erron walks off and I follow him. The group of Earthrealmers follows with the fleet close by. We walk into the main plaza of the marketplace, where a crowd has gathered to watch a public event. Since it's too crowded we have to stop until the event or announcement is finished. I tip-toe a bit to get a better look at what is happening and sigh once I see a man bound in the stocks.

'Another execution? This is the 3rd one this week.' I thought. This is one of the few reasons I didn't like Kotal Kahn. There was a death penalty for almost anything. No matter how big or small the crime was all would be resolved with blood. A soldier on a raised platform addresses all present, reading from a scroll.

"In these times of war, we are required to view every resource as a weapon for our Emperor to use at his discretion. To take without his leave is to steal from the hand of Kotal Kahn himself. Therefore, having been found guilty of theft, you shall be put to death! "

The thief retaliated yelling that he was hungry as he is slammed onto a headsman's block. I sighed and put my head down not wanting to witness another poor man being killed. But at that moment the monk from the group of Earthrealmers spoke up.

"Death? For petty theft?"

"Remember where you are."

Erron warned but it fell on deaf ears as the monk started walking through the crowd to get to the platform.

"Jin what are you doing" One of the girls with blond hair spoke up her question also landing on deaf ears. Erron pulls out a revolver, intending to shoot the monk named Jin in the back but the blonde woman grabs his arm and throws him down, causing the shot to miss. The other two of the group also begin fighting the soldiers as well. Not knowing whether to fight the Earthrealmers for trying to save the poor man or not I chose crowd control I quickly ran to each fallen citizen I could and helped them get away from the chaos that ensured a full-on riot. Citizens and Earthrealmers vs. Kotal Kahn's soldiers.

The soldiers surrounding the Earthrealmers are quickly defeated including Erron. They all turn to me next expecting me to be their next opponent. To their surprise, I turn my back to them and headed to a little girl that seemed to have lost her parents in the riot. I pick her up and head to the exit but not before I point towards the upcoming threat somewhat warning the Earthrealmers. As if on cue a loud deep roar and several thumping footsteps attract their attention. They look up in horror at what is approaching, they hear a young girl calling out threats in the Outworld tongue. The gigantic hooded brute Torr walks into the plaza and on his back is his rider, the diminutive Ferra. She gives off an evil cackle as they approach the group. I instantly leave the area in search of the girl's parents that weren't hard to find in the end since they were looking for her. After I decided to head back to the plaza. A yell across the plaza grabs everyone's attention. More soldiers dash towards them. Once the Earthrealmers are surrounded, the Kytinn D'Vorah Kotal Kahn's right-hand strolls up to Team.

"The Earthrealmers, yes? This One must learn more of your diplomatic techniques"

The blond Earthrealmer which I assumed was their leader tried to reason with her but because they interfered their punishment is death.

"But as we honor the Reiko accords, we will consult the emperor. You will await him here."
