All three of them started their journey to Karlas house. Antonio was ahead talking to his animals and Camilo was surprisingly quiet the whole time. Karla was reading and didn't mind the silence but Camilo's usually smiling face was now a bit pouty which had her a bit concerned. She knew why he was quiet but figured he would've been over it by now. She bops him on his head with her book.

K-"Camilo! It was just a harmless prank don't get so worked up over nothing."

C-" AY! Harmless mi trasero. I really thought you were gonna- uh..."

K-"I was gonna what?"

C-"-you know!" He gestured wildly with his hands before crossing them. Karla laughed at his sudden bashfulness.

K-"Why are you so shy all of a sudden? Was it because I didn't actually kiss you?"

C-"Well yEah.."

K-"...I'm sorry for leading you on then. And for disappointing you. It was supposed to be something to tease you but I took it too far and I apologize. Do you forgive me?" 

Camilo glanced at her and narrowed his eyes. He wouldn't be able to hold a grudge against something he slightly enjoyed. He shoved her face away slightly.

C-"I mean I guess I forgive you." He sighed as he shrugged, curls bouncing as he shook his head with a dumb smile.

K-"Great thanks." She shoved him back with an eye roll. They shoved each other back and forth, laughing for a bit before Camilo suddenly remembered something.

C-"Right! What was up with Mirabel at breakfast? Did my sister say anything?"

K-"Yeah she told us that Luisa knows something about the candle losing its magic....your sister knows something else as well. She's not telling us but she hinted at it.
When Mirabel asked she said

'The only one worried about the magic is you two and the rats talking in the in the walls.'

Dolores can't understand animals and she said the "rats" were worried. She may have worded it that way because she can't directly talk about it so...I think there's someone else within Casita who knows about the magic."

C-"Yeah and the key word is rats..."

They were currently at Karlas house and the boys waited outside for her to come out.

The door opened and out came Karla with a huge bag.

K-"Ok ya I got what I needed so let's go."

C, A -"What is that?"

Both hermanos asked as she kicked the door closed and made her way down the steps. She plopped it down on the floor and tapped it with her foot.

K-"It's calcium carbonate. This is going to help balance the pH in soil for the crops."

C, A-"Oh" 

Camilo went to pick it up but Karla stopped him and went to the shed to bring out a cart.

K-"Work smarter not harder." 

She put the bag with help from Camilo into the cart. Camilo started pushing the cart while Karla held Antonios hand and walked in front of it.

Camilo lightly smiled at this two favorite people then his smile turned into a mischievous one. He dashed forward with the cart and scooped up both Karla and Antonio.
