His name echoed around the sewers. This was the man that caused all of this. My friend was infected because of him.
"You did this!" I screamed, launching at him. His face dropped.
"Woah!" Bunny shouted, putting herself between me and Mr.P.
"Get out of the way!" I cried, trying to shove her. "My friend is gone because of him! If it wasn't for him, this whole thing wouldn't be happening!" Bunny put her hands on my shoulders.
" You need to calm down. He can explain-"
"Get your hands off me! There is no explanation." I started growing hot, and my breathing got rapid. My sight was fuzzy. I stumbled and put my hand on the wall behind me.
"Are you ok..?" Bunny asked, backing away. I put my hand to my head.
"I don't.... Feel too well..." I fell to the floor. And everything went black.

Beep. Beep. Beep. The sound of a machine beeping and whirring woke me up. I cracked my eyes open, and a blinding light made me close them again. I lifted my head, and saw I was in a hospital room. A bunch of machines lined the walls and empty medicine bottles were strewn across the table next to me.
In the corner, back to me was bunny.  She was shuffling through papers from what I could hear.
"Bunny?" I called out weakly. She jumped and turned around, and all the papers she was holding tumbled to the floor. She quickly bent to pick them up. I noticed she was wearing an eye patch.
"You're finally up!" She came to my side and felt my head. "How do you feel?"
"What happened?" I asked, brushing a strand of hair away from my face.
"Well...you passed out in the sewers." I suddenly remembered. Mr.P
"Where is he?" I asked, sitting up and pushing the blanket off of me. Bunny gently pushed me back down.
"Purple please! You still aren't well. Just let me explain."
"I'm fine!" I exclaimed, standing up. But a wave of dizziness came over me and I had to sit back down. "There is no explaining, Bunny... My friend is infected because of him."
"Look, it wasn't his fault! If you would just let me explain."
"Where's the bathroom?" I asked quietly. She pointed to a door on my right. I slipped out of bed and put my hands on the wall for support. I grabbed the door handle and went in, closing it behind me and locking it. I walked over to the mirror and leaned in, looking at myself.
My long, blond hair was in tangles, a bush on my head. There were bags under my eyes and beads of sweat on my forehead. My detective jacket had been taken off and my police uniform had been swapped for a polka dot hospital gown. I looked like a girl that had been to war and back. I looked like I belonged in jail. And not the person putting people in. I looked awful.
There was a comb on the sink and I did my best to brush out my hair, wincing as I tugged at the knots. After 10 minutes, I finally had straight and silky hair again.
    I unlocked the door.
"Is there a change of clothes somewhere?" Bunny looked up from the papers.
      " Possibly. I can check."
"That would be great." She left and I glanced at what she had been reading:
SUBJECT #5:
Subject had been showing similar signs to previous family. Hallucinations that often consist of someone by the name DOGGY. Subject often became violent.

"What...?" I whispered. I wanted to flip to the next page but someone knocked on the door. I turned around.
Bunny entered with a bundle of clothes. She noticed the papers behind me. She sighed. "Purple.."
"Is that what happened?" I interrupted. She looked down. "Did I really became violent?" My eyes widened. " Did I hurt anyone?" I asked urgently. Bunny hesitated. "Bunny..?" She lifted her eye patch. I gasped. Bloody scratches covered her eyelid. "I did that?" I asked, my voice wavering. She nodded. "Bunny I am so sorry.."
"It's fine. I know you didn't mean it. You didn't have control over yourself. The doctors thought you were a lost cause but I didn't give up on you."
     "Subject #5?"
"The Piggy family was the other 4." She handed me the bundle. "I hope these fit but go put them on." I walked into the bathroom and put on the clothes. They fit perfectly. A white shirt with purple stripes and black jeans. They were comfortable too. There was a hair tye around my wrist and I pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I left the bathroom. Bunny looked panicked.
"We need to leave right now!" Bunny said.
       "Why?" I asked, growing worried.
"There's an infected doctor on the loose." My eyes widened.
       "What about the patients?"
"They're being evacuated as we speak by ambulances." She grabbed my wrist and we ran out the door.
Crowds of people were rushing to the nearest exits. Patients were being rolled down hallways and a loudspeaker was yelling instructions. People were screaming.
Bunny and I tried to get through safely. People elbowed me and we got shoved around. I tripped on a medication bottle on the ground and fell. Bunny tried to help me up but people kept moving. She was pushed farther down the hall by everyone.
"Purple!" She cried. I couldn't get up. People were stepping on me and kicking me in their hurry to get out. Every time I tried to get up, people would trample me again. I tried crawling to a room but someone tripped over me and my hands slipped, sending me crashing to the ground. I blacked out when my head hit the cold tile.
