I woke up with a throbbing headache. There was a large bump on my head that was tender to touch. The first time I did, when I pulled my hand away there was blood. What was more concerning though was the fact that I had no clue where I was. I was in a small room that had nothing but a bunk bed and rug. There was a window that was boarded up with splintered wood, barely letting any light in. I stood up trying to find out where I was and lost my balance, putting my hands on the dirty white walls. Then it all came flooding back to me. I had been knocked out by someone when I went to the Piggy house. That must be where I was. Somewhere in the house.
" Oh no... I have to get out of here!" I tried the doorknob, and with some difficulty it opened into a long hallway. To the right was an opening and straight ahead was a bathroom. It was dark and I squinted to try to see better.
A thud sounded to the right. I froze and reached in my jacket for my gun, and realized something. My radio and gun were missing along with my phone. "Great..." The thud got louder. It sounded like someone or something was coming up the stairs.
I cautiously neared the opening and peered around the corner. I stifled a scream when a Pig with a dirty red dress and a baseball bat stared at me. I noticed in horror one of the eyes was glowing red. I covered my nose from the horrible odor that came off it. I backed up and hit the wall behind me. The pig neared me and I screamed, quickly running into the bathroom and slamming the door, looking around for something to protect myself.
There was nothing there. Splintered wood spread all over the tile as the monster's bat slammed into the door. I screamed and covered my eyes, looking around for somewhere to escape. There was a small vent that I could fit through. The bat slammed into the door again and I started crawling towards the opening.
I fell onto hard tile and sat up, a searing pain running through my back. I was in a filthy kitchen with a broken window and a bench. I needed to get out.
I looked out the window but there was a tall fence all around the backyard. There were two other doorways and a door.
I creeped towards it, hand held out. The doorknob jiggled and I backed away running towards one of the openings into a sitting area. I looked around the corner. The pig opened the door and looked around for me. I backed away and looked behind me for an escape. There was another hallway that led to a door.
The footsteps got louder so I ran for the door and shoved it open. The monster rounded the corner and I ran through the doorway. I closed it and tried to catch my breath. I turned around and saw the front door. It had a lock and planks keeping me from escaping.
That pig had knocked me out and locked me in here! I had to find a key and a hammer.
The door opened and I swiveled around. It was back. I bolted up the stairs and went along the banister to another set of stairs. There was another landing on the other side with only a thin board connecting the two.
The pig was getting closer. I crossed the landing, willing myself not to fall to the first floor below.
Halfway across, the board started creaking and I gasped, my heart pounding.
I finally made it across and took a breather. Thats when I saw it. A hammer.
I grabbed it and weilded it, facing the monster.
"Come near me I dare you!"I shouted. It stopped. Looked at me. And continued moving forward. I swerved around it and hit it in the head. It tilted, almost falling over. Stunned. I jumped across the plank and raced down the stairs, hammer at my side. The pig was still processing the hit.
I slammed the hammer into the boards and ripped them away from the door. They easily fell off. Leaving just the key. The pig started towards me and I ran towards the kitchen and out into the backyard, nearly slipping on a wet spot. I looked around for a key. The pig came out the door and I crawled inside through the open window. There was a door under the stairs. I yanked it open. More stairs led down to a basement. I ran down. There was another door. The monster started down the steps. I tried the handle but it wouldn't open. I slammed my body into it until my shoulder hurt.
" Please." I silently pleaded as the pig got nearer. I tried the handle again. "Please!" I cried. The monster was right behind me now. The handle broke and I fell against the door into a workshop. I quickly stood up and ran around a broken car. The pig followed and I was able to get back up the stairs. Then I noticed a bump on the carpet. I lifted it, and jumped when a beetle crawled out. But under the rug, was the key. I grabbed it, causing dust to float into the air. The pig came from the basement. I rushed to the door and shoved the key in the lock. It clicked and I pushed the door open and ran to my car, searching in my pocket for my key. It wasnt there. It was getting closer. I saw something shining in the grass and bent to pick it up. My key! I ducked when the monster swung the bat. Running, to my car I jumped in and locked the doors, breathing a sigh of relief. I was safe. For now.
