Pontypandy was waking up to the sound of the birds singing in the trees and the fire station was not busy in the morning. Sam was in the kitchen and Elvis was polishing Jupiter when Ellie texted him that Penny will be at the station in 1 minute as Arnold is arriving at the station. And Elvis just noticed Penny walk into the station and set her bags in her locker. "Morning, Elvis. How's your morning starting off so far?" Penny asked.

"It's going great, Penny! Jupiter's looking beautiful with the shiniest paint there is."

"Oh, isn't that shiny? I think it's the shiniest than any other fire engine in all of the UK."

"It sure is, Penny. Station Officer Steele is going to love this. He always wants us to keep the vehicles clean."

"Oh, well, I think Venus is clean, pristine, and gleaming."

"I'm sure she is too, Penny."

"Well, I better get going. Sam is wondering where I have been since I first arrived."

"Ok, Penny. See you there."

"See you later, Elvis."

Penny went off to find Sam when a firefighter from another service approached her and introduced himself. "Firefighter Morris?" He asked.

"Yes, sir. That's me. And you are?"

"Firefighter Kyle Higgins. London Fire Brigade. I was assigned here while Firefighter Phillips was at Newtown Hospital."

"I see. Well, it's very nice of you to be here. I hope you make yourself at home. We treat everyone like family here."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Is that always like this in London?"

"Hmm... Not all the time. But, yeah, it is."

"Uh... Ok. I'll be up in the kitchen. Breakfast will be ready soon."

Sam was working on breakfast for everyone in the station while Ellie was on duty at Newtown Hospital. Penny came up to find Sam working on some tea for the others and himself. Station Officer Steele was in his office waiting for breakfast to be ready. "Morning, Sam." She called to him.

"Morning, Penny."

"Wow... This smells really good."

"It sure does."

"What's for breakfast?"

"Well, there's tea, pancakes, biscuits, beans, scrambled eggs, and bacon. All of that is a full breakfast for everyone."

"Yeah, I think I need a warm breakfast. You make the best breakfast here, Sam."

"Does Elvis make the best too?"

"Yeah. He does. He is good at it too."

"I'm sure he is."

"Elvis has been lazy sometimes."

"Yeah. I'm sure he is but Station Officer Steele wouldn't want one of our own to lose his job."

"I wonder how Jason has been doing after he came to Pontypandy while Ellie was on medical leave?"

"I don't know, Penny. But, let's hope he's alright in Cardiff. I heard last night from Arnold that he's the Union Representative from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service."

"Is he really?"

"Yeah."

"Surely, he can do a great job than Jerry Donaldson who is still Union President..."

"He probably wants us firefighters to be held accountable for our own actions out of our own pocket money."

"That's not what I want to do."
